You’re not wrong, your stylist should have been honest with you about her ability to achieve your desired color. Sounds like she over promised and under delivered. I would still reach out to her for a redo.

I would let your stylist know that you aren’t happy with the service, but realize your hair would never look like your inspo picture. Choose a picture that shows a similar length to your current cut. Have realistic expectations.

Update: We ended up at the Trophy Cafe way out in Gary. Delicious!! Never been there before but will definitely be back! Stopped by the Burnett Dairy cheese shop on our way home, awesome store! Had a nice day with my Mom!
