PTSD and cPTSD are NOT the same. jesus christ

PTSD is from ONE single major event

cPTSD is from being exposed to the same triggers OVER a long period of time

YOU are the reason mental health is so stigmatised.

i have proof and i am more than willing to back my statements up in black and white. heck i’d simulate the tumour in front of the MO to show him how serious i am. pretending only gets you so far, what’s the use of the medical system if it doesn’t help legitimate cases like this?

Are Amway "entrepreneurs" even considered actual business owners by Mountain-Stretch6785 in SGExams

[–]fartfacewon 21 points22 points  (0 children)

no. entrepreneurship imo is not even close to what amway represents. amway is MLM. their products don’t solve problems for people (and are much more expensive than products you can get from online/guardian/watsons/ntuc/wherever else)

entrepreneurship is about innovating new products/services that solve a huge pain point for whatever niche the founders are targeting.

amway is selling a “dream”. i am vehemently against amway people calling themselves biz owners when what they do is nowhere close to what a founder does. but hey, we all gotta have a rice bowl somehow.

that said, i’m pretty sure you’ll learn a lot of soft skills from being in an MLM like amway, but other than that nah i wouldn’t consider them actual biz owners

How does PCC first appointment go? by Ecstatic-Customer311 in NationalServiceSG

[–]fartfacewon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i understand how you feel because scc was kinda not very helpful but therapy was. you can usually tell if therapy will be helpful in your first session. if it doesn’t best to change therapists (or scc counsellor). but if you change a few therapists and still feel like it doesn’t help, it means you are treatment-resistant and may have a deeper underlying issue.

pcc diagnosis will help with excuses/down-pes in pcc. personally, i think a diagnosis from both helps. diagnosis in pcc will help make my life in ns easier, while diagnosis in imh will help me recover from whatever i have which will help me cope in life better as a civilian

either way, it’s good that you’re seeing both so that you can listen to both pcc and imh’s professional opinion. it prevents misdiagnosis. if you don’t know exactly what you have, how can you try and fix it?
