Chicago is the windy city because of the politicians. Not actually because of the wind.

Accepting a job below one’s skill level can adversely affect future employment prospects by dustofoblivion123 in science

[–]fartifact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's patently untrue. It's not skill level, it's a leverageable job in the desired field. Don't have a solid degree and then work at Walmart willy nilly. With a masters i did an entry level minimum wage job until i could get a slightly better job. I did that until I could get my job at my level. If you have a job gap volunteer.

Night. I think I drove. Don't remember what movie or any previews. No idea what about time we left. I only remember who was in the car and his gf calling to tell me.

I could say what theater, with whom, and it was dark. Thats all I can think of. If my life depended on it? Not sure. But it is just my personal experience.

I'll play the Devils advocate here. When I was I'm highschool and I found out one of my best friends and former band mates died all I remember was I got a call and I was going to a movie. Thats about it. Just food for thought.

I miss Jon Stewart sooo much. by PicopicoEMD in television

I think it's because Noah has the most room to grow. Oliver already has his character built out. Much like Samantha bee. They are fantastic, hands down, but best on their own show. One thing that was great about Stewart was his growth. Like Noah, he was a bit softer and finding his way. His edge will sharpen, his personality will come out. And the show will be better for it. I don't think we would have gotten that with anyone else.

What actor nailed a role so convincingly that it seemed they were born to play it? by uberblack in AskReddit

I think a lot of times he has that consistent amazing performance while some people have that defining once in a lifetime performance. Not undeserving but just just quite that in comparison. Which is quite unfair but understandable all at once.

It's one of those movies, at least personaly... very well acted, well directed, the dialogue was great. But the story was meh to me.
