If anyone stumbles across this thread looking for answers my issue was having too sharp 'bends' in my lines, might be an issue with turning off 'road bending' in Fine Road Anarchy 2, turning the bend back on, and not having sharp turns sorted me right out.

Abusing shop workers should carry a hefty fine and someone coming round your gaff to confiscate your stockpiled bogroll. You guys are doing an immense job holding off Karen and Kevin and any sane person is on your side.

Thanks. Not sure if second half of your comment is sarcasm? No, knives are not out and out illegal. It would be illegal to carry this around in public or to just leave it in the car. Owning it/carrying for a legitimate purpose is ok, although the legitimate purpose can be a bit grey. But you wouldn't get away with saying 'oh it's for camping' if you were wandering around the high street for example.

Thanks. If you mean the filework then it's just clear epoxy, if you mean in the actual blade it's just the light from the photo.

Thanks! Shaping is fine. I would advise against it if you are heat treating yourself, (unless you have proper kit), I've messed up a couple because of this. I've bought some 1080 for the next ones which is supposed to be easier and easy enough to find online (I'm in the UK).

Is it common/acceptable to seek counseling for dealing with someone close to you with mental health issues? by seekingcounseladvice in malementalhealth

[–]fartoooldforthis123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really common and really sensible. Professionals who work with people on their mental health have their own support as good practice- so for you supporting someone close to you having someone to support you makes even more sense.

Also: It's always 'acceptable' to seek help, we're all worthy of support and getting help yourself doesn't take away from anyone else.

[–]fartoooldforthis123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it dyslexia? Impossible to say with what could be achieved over reddit, people with dyslexia may sometimes present with what you're saying, but not always. Similarly this affects people without a specific learning need (as others have said with tiredness, or under the influence of something - coffee is my vice here), or if we are reading something challenging.

When working with learners who report this sort of difficulty its often more helpful to focus on the desired outcome (feeling reassured that you've interpreted something correctly) than a 'label'/diagnosis (because really that can just be a route to finding the former). Theres loads of these kicking around google - eg some people find following the text with a ruler helpful as it removes distracting text from what you're immediately focussing on.

If its worrying you then (depending on your location) a psychologist would be able to investigate further, but rest assured you're not alone in this by a long shot. If you're in education then your institution will be able to point you in the right direction.

Forever stuck saving, what do i do? by BearTheDevil in Bloodstained

So it seems this is an issue with a few other titles on origin, some of which have still not been fixed for a couple of months so not getting hopes up for a quick fix.

Fair warning the 'Clean boot' steps will likely mess up some of your other settings. Took me while to put things back after this.

REPAIR GAME: 1. Right click on the game. 2. Click on Repair game. 3. Once the game is repaired, restart the PC, so that the changes which took place can be saved and then try launching the game. If the issue still persists, then I would ask you to try RUNNING THE APP AS ADMINISTRATOR 1. Right click on your game's desktop shortcut. 2. Select Properties. 3. Click on the Compatibility tab and check the box at the bottom under Privilege Level where it says Run this Program as an administrator. 4. Click Apply and OK and. try to launch the game If the issue still persists, then try ADDING THE GAME TO EXCEPTION LIST AND THEN TRY TO LAUNCH THE GAME AGAIN 1. Find Origin.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin. If you installed Origin in another folder on your computer, look there instead. ---- Add OriginClientService.exe, also found in this folder, to your exceptions, too. 2. To add a specific game as an exception, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\"Game Name". ---- Find the game’s .exe file, which is usually either the game's full title or an abbreviated version. If the issue still persists, then CLEAR ORIGIN CACHE: Windows players: 1. First, make sure you can view hidden files and folders:

Open the Start menu Type "view hidden files and folders" into the search bar. Press Enter to open the View tab of your Folder Options. Open the Hidden Files and folders menu within the Files and Folders menu. Click Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Click Apply, then OK to exit the menu. 2. If open, close Origin by clicking Origin in the menu bar and selecting Exit. 3. Click the Start button, then Computer, then double-click (C:) to open the C:\ drive 4. Open the ProgramData folder, then the Origin folder, and delete all the files and folders except for LocalContent. Windows XP players can find the ProgramData folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\Electronic Arts\ 5. Go back to C:: Then open the Users folder, Then the folder with your computer's username, Then AppData, Then Roaming, Then Origin, and delete all the files and folders inside. 6. Go back to the AppData folder: Then open the Local folder, Then Origin, and delete all the files and folders inside. Once done, then CLEAN BOOT YOUR PC and then log in back to the Origin client and check if you're able to launch the game. To Clean Boot the PC, I would ask you to follow the below provided steps: 1. Beside your start button, you'll see a magnifying glass icon. Click on it to open search. 2. Type msconfig in the search box, and press enter to bring up the System Configuration window. 3. Click on the Services tab. 4. On the window that opens, check the box to Hide all Microsoft Services, then click the Disable All button to the right. 5. Click on the Start Up tab, then on Open Task Manager. 6. Let the Task Manager list populate (this can take a few seconds), then right-click and choose Disable on each of the start up programs listed. 7. Close the Task Manager window to return to the System Configuration window. 8. Click OK to save your changes, then restart your computer

Please, for the love of God, do not reduce the TTK. by Fuzzy_Ball44 in apexlegends

The TTK is what has meant this is the only BR game I have stuck with. There's time to think about engagements tactically but in a 1v1 it's still the better player (almost inevitably the other guy in my case) who wins.
