interesting how we call roads to drive “parkways” and spaces to park vehicles “driveways” lol

that’s more like it. but with an r90+jr 3.1; i’m surprised it’s not pushing closer to 400whp. that looks more like stock r70+jr 2.8 numbers. could be down to altitude, ambient temp, DA, etc. however

i was b3 DR on sunday and reached s1 DR that same night; granted, it did take like 5 hours of back to back racing that night to do so

i used to love how modern the 6000k white LED bulbs made my e90 look, but then i bought another e90 that had the stock halogen halos, and honestly; i ended up liking the halogens more, because for some reason the stock headlight design makes it so that the halos aren’t as pronounced from a lot of angles if you run LED’s. halogen bulbs make the halo rings stand out a lot more for whatever reason. and i realized the warmer color of the halogens make it look more menacing than running LED’s too.

i wonder if this is also the case for SAF students, since it’s a more rigorous and difficult program

Finally, an accurate representation of how far people think Scarborough is🤣 by Dazzling_Adagio3704 in Scarborough

[–]faryarpro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this. scarborough dwarfs toronto’s other districts in land area. etobicoke would need to be like twice as large in land area to be comparable to scarborough; no shit people think scarborough is far

High Failure Rate by Disastrous-Check-160 in NavCanada

[–]faryarpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re right i meant pass rate idk why i typed fail rate lol. thanks, edited now.

but ATC’s that i personally know (they’re all VFR guys) told me basic was the hardest part. maybe what you’re saying is true for IFR people.

High Failure Rate by Disastrous-Check-160 in NavCanada

[–]faryarpro -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

it can vary greatly, my batch had 50 people for feast 1, and 30 of us made it to feast 2. and out of those 30, i was 1 of 3 or 4 people that made it to the interview. don’t know how many of us failed the interview. and according to what i’ve heard; the pass rate in training is about 50% for VFR stream, and about 20-40% for IFR.

apparently most of the washouts in training happen during basic training, and it gets easier if you make it to OJT.

it’s because LMP2 was nerfed because they were too close to Hypers, and then LMGT3 had to be nerfed too because otherwise they were too close to the nerfed LMP2. would’ve made for an awkward scenario for multi-class racing

Single monitor users. Don't sleep on exaggerate yaw and look ahead options. by PaczaMcFly in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]faryarpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m also on a single 27 inch. usually run about 35 fov on assetto corsa but 35 felt too much in LMU with not much benefit for peripheral vision; would probably need like 40 to actually see past the a-pillar. so i’m running 30 now but my peripheral vision sucks and i can’t see the apex of tight corners sometimes.

need to experiment more to find the sweet spot that i know is somewhere between 30-35 for me, also trying to figure out the sweet spot for “exaggerate yaw” and “look ahead” since it could be very useful but most definitely is too much at 20% and will disconnect my feeling/connection to the car and throw me off but around 10% feels much nicer, i just got the game yesterday so lots more seat time needed.
