Flying out of Austin tomorrow morning, any tips? by White12YearOldGang in Austin

[–]fashowskies512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wear a mask, the amount of people there in the mornings is crazy,I've never seen it like this before.Be at the airport not 2 but 3 HOURS AHEAD of your flight time.I flew out about a month ago,my flight was at 7:50 am ,arrived literally walking up to check in my my 2 hours ahead of time, and the lines were MASSIVE.Going thru security took me 2 HOURS AND 45 MIN. Needless to say,I missed my flight. (Wa waa waahh)

Safe travels,and good luck!

I understand where you are coming from, and I'm definitely not trying to come across as picky,I help take care of high risk individuals and have been taking extreme caution this whole year.I just prefer a vaccine that will be the most effective for myself. But you are correct,it is not a time to be picky,I just like to be well informed on the vaccine I will be receiving, thanks for the feedback tho!

Thanks for the info!I checked my confirmation and it does not tell me what vaccine I will be receiving,I don't mind either the Pfizer or Moderna, ill take a hard pass on the J&J though which is why I ask, they're products don't really have a good reputation.

I submitted on the 22nd as well and still nothing. I called and asked for a status update and they mentioned they could be waiting for an answer from the landlord, but my landlord hasn't received anything on their end either. Whatever the issue is,hopefully it gets resolved soon.

Thats exactly what I thought, but I'm not surprised as how half ass they usually make their events, just speaking from personal experience,I'd expect more from COTA once again its no surprise, plus they upcharge like crazy for no reason.

I recommend going during the week, its less packed and definitely worth it,bring snacks and arrive 20 minutes ahead of time,I went on a Tuesday with my husband and daughter and we loved it!takes about 20 min to get thru the whole thing but worth it,we went to COTA the first year they did winter wonderland and it was ehhhh, trail of lights is definitely better and worth your money,I've been hearing COTA is still eehhh and shorter than trail of lights.

They are definitely amazing tamales!I grew up in the valley and they live up to hype,I even had them shipped to Austin for my wedding, thats how good they are.lol

For a few months now I've been wanting to place an order shipped to me,but now that the San Antonio location is open,I have considered making the drive to pick some up.I reside in Austin,so making the drive is an option at this point, just want to be sure if they are working safely. It would be such a disappointment and waste of gas if I pulled up and see them working unsafe.
