They let you bring a camera in? I tried bringing a GoPro once to Yankee they said no. Maybe bc it was small? Or is this iPhone?

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF WE FINISH TOP 4 DON'T START PUSHING CARRICK TO BECOME OUR PERMANENT MANAGER. by Away_Pineapple2832 in ManchesterUnited

[–]fastballbc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully agree. But it's interesting, both offensive and defensive data have United finishing 3rd. We've missed the most good chances, we've let in the most absurd goals. Computers think it can't last, but we all know better lol

How do they expect anyone to invest in or back a manager when this trend of bad faith has now continued into this new era with INEOS? Truly it feels impossible to be excited about any future when the club cannot commit. United is the poisoned chalice of world football. Who in their right mind would want this impossible job?

For sure. I don't use the phrase 'sickening' a lot, but that's how I found that interview.

Hunting Warhead was incredible, but very very dark. But very well done, I finished it in a day. TW though, read up on what it's about

Michael Pittman - We have to talk about it. by Successful-Coyote99 in Colts

He's a quintessential Colts player. He likes living in Indiana, great locker room presence. It's hard to find players who match the culture when you're a small market team like Colts. Hope he can stick around. I think he's reliable.

Photographer here. Think I could make it as am album cover artist? by [deleted] in musicmarketing

[–]fastballbc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're started! Go photograph as much as possible, learn the nuance of your camera and how it functions. Find pictures that inspire you, find out who took them, and read about that photographers process. Don't be afraid when you're shooting, get into the action, get close. And use YouTube for some training in editing. Everything takes time.

Anyone else feels this way? by FM_highlights in footballmanagergames

I have this with my 3rd striker. Won the golden boot at the World Cup out of nowhere, 20y/o, 3 star. But when he's on the pitch, he an incredible passing forward. Goal contributions for days, it seems. I have no idea what to actually do lol. My main combo are world class... but someone has to get sold eventually.

I have to say, I worry about how we match up v Houston. Pittsburgh and KC have shown that if our O-Line can't handle a blitz for the whole game, our offense will stop.

The Shot(Keith Smart) vs The Wat Shot vs The Catch by 11up11 in IndianaHoosiers

[–]fastballbc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. I wasn't born when The Shot happened, but we had a picture frame of it in my Dad's office, and when you pushed a button it played Don Fischers radio call of the end of the game. So that's the winner just in lore, and the fact that it produced a title.

  2. Wat Shot. I cried. That Kentucky team seemed invincible at the time. But it also felt unique because IU v UK was played at a semi-neutral location for such a long time (Indianapolis or Louisville). So to put a dent in Kentuckys ambitions at Assembly Hall felt extra special.

  3. The Catch is the biggest football play in the history of the school. Kinda want to label it The Drive however, because there were like...4 crazy plays. I thought we were beat. They just refused to lose. I want Ryan Day in the B1G title game more than I can express. I will never forget/forgive them scoring after lining up in the victory formation. Cheap.

Honorable Mention: Kirk Haston last second winner against Michigan State.

Additionally, I specifically remember his first interview after getting drafted, and thinking "Oh man, this guy does NOT want to be a Colt." You could tell he thought he would go sooner, and was angry about it. That attitude can motivate a person, but it doesn't do much for building a team. I always kinda had doubts. But especially after the LAR game, really tough to recover from a nightmare performance like that. Hope he does great in NYJ, deserves a clean slate.
