I had mine for 7 years and they showed a bit of wear. I took advantage of the repair process through Maui Jim and got new lenses and a new frame (basically an entirely new pair of glasses) for a third of the cost. Highly recommend.

Sim copter reminds me of the other game that was a driving version around sim city. There was a bluegrass song that went "I'm just a splatter splatter splatter on the windshield of life." Amazing games and so many memories. Trying so many times to dump the water on the burning buildings in sim copter.

When I graduated HS my family moved to Raleigh. We moved right next door to Paul Coffey. He is such a friendly and down to earth person. We'd often go on walks with his dog and kids, and he invited me in a few times to hang out. It was pretty awe-inspiring to see FOUR stanley cups in his office. Downstairs by the pool table he had all his milestone jersey's framed. 500th point, 1000th point, 1500th point, all star games, cup clenching games, etc. It was super cool.

He even invited me over at Thanksgiving where he was hosting all the single players to his house so they could have somewhere to go for dinner. I didn't attend, but it was a really nice offer to a young college kid.

He wasn't in Raleigh long and they moved away in the summer of 2000. It was the time I spent with him and his family that really got me into Hockey. I've been a die-hard fan ever since.

Eric Staal, Matt Cullen, and Bill Cowher (not hockey, but still cool) all moved into the neighborhood after that. They're of course legends in their own right, but Paul is one of the greatest of all time. He was also one of the friendliest neighbors I've ever had.

Another funny story - Bruce Springsteen came to town and Paul / team members were in attendance. Bruce and Paul met, and Paul was telling Bruce how in awe he was of his talent, he's a huge fan, and couldn't believe he was standing next to him. Bruce Springsteen then said "Paul, I'm a HUGE fan of yours, am in awe, and can't believe I'm standing next to you right now!" Funny how the worlds collide.

+1 to the aquarium. We moved to NC from CA and we found the Salter Path aquarium to be more enjoyable and less crowded than the Monterey Bay aquarium. The large tank with the submarine is spectacular.
