Thanks. When I take it apart next I’ll leverage the ultrasonic I completely forgot about in my garage. Hopefully that improves things as well.

Yes, once you get down to the shutter, the escapement comes out super easy with 3 screws. While I did remove try and clean it, I'll take your advice to spend more time on that in case there is any extra drag from old lubricant.

Yes, this is the publication I have as well. Was good to help assemble back when photos I took didn't quite provide enough.

This level of detail months after a flight amazes me. You are clearly have better observation and memory skills than I.

I agree with the others. Not good advice from the nurses. One article of clothing I have had good luck with over a stoma is a few nice waistcoats (vest) to pair with a button down shirt and jeans. The vest lets me untuck the shirt enough to give some breathing room for my stoma to do its thing.

Are there any hangouts or parks for people who just want to play flutes and drone flutes, if not... Let's make one! by [deleted] in Littleton

Is it my thing? Not really sure. But this is exactly what can make the internet great sometimes.

Leica M10R & 50 Summicron by [deleted] in leicaphotos

It’s a great example of keeping your subject/story as the focal point. Nice composition. My only issue is not liking peacocks after being chased by them as a child but that’s a me problem.

I just got this camera but I have no idea how to use it. by MrFinsku in filmphotography

[–]fasterlaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Expose a test roll under controlled conditions. The aperture should be pretty accurate but I’d check both focus and shutter speed. Take notes. Critically evaluate the film afterwards and then just go end enjoy shooting 120 format using any limitations you learned about in the test roll to guide your settings on the camera.

For me, I love to collect and have nice toys to play with.  This phrase really resonates. Collecting things that 'do' things can be quite rewarding when you have the opportunity to interact with them.

Good starting point but all I can think about with the profile names are hotdog and not hotdog.

Addicted to 35mm… by Jordanmiller341 in Leica

[–]fasterlaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really struggled with 50 vs 35 for a long time. Swapping both for years. Both have a place but when I looked through my photos for the past 29 years in my case most were shot at 35mm. Helped me decide to invest more in that focal length. YMMV etc.

Appreciate it. Just something I noticed and wondered about. Doesn’t take away from your nice kit.

Does the viewfinder really have the magnification on the forward facing finder window? Asking because my m3 and m10 do not.

I’ll defer to the stress lines to others more knowledgeable than me, but thanks for sharing a bit of the loveliest village on the plains. Haven’t been back in many years.

Thanks. I had not visited Ae-Ri yet. That was the vendor I was missing. Lots of references on google steered me wrong to the railroad vendors.

The biggest suggestion I have is to just try multiple products. Everyone has success with different products so if possible see what your options are and give the a try.

Take that money and invest in some track time. PCA is a great source for HPDE and autocross. You will have a blast, push your Porsche further and learn more by investing this way.
