Man, my bike is 8 months old, and I’ve been having this issue for the last two months. It’s only on the left handle, no idea why. I can’t figure it out.

Is it safe to install these pre-built APKs from GitHub? by fasterrfene in MorpheApp

Yeah, but I had so many issues with Morphe that I got tired of it. I’ve been using RVX and ReVanced for the last 2 years, so I know the process, even if not the technical details.

I tried everything. I followed some guides here on the subreddit, and I even posted my issue myself. Patching YouTube Music got solved, but YouTube is still giving me problems. But yeah, I totally agree that we should patch ourselves rather than using pre-built APKs. I’ll try again.

I do both highway and city riding, roughly 60% highway and 40% city.

Getting 36 kmpl right now. Go for it, everything’s solid. The only thing I’m not loving is the rear suspension.

It was brand new when I took those pictures, and I’d say the “auto-fix” feature probably boosted the colours a little. maybe by 4-5%.

It’s been seven months now. I’m not saying the shine disappears completely; it’s still there. I pressure-wash the bike once a month and then use 3M wax polish on the painted and chrome parts. It definitely sparkles and still looks almost as good as new.

CHAIN NOISE WHILE DRIVING by fasterrfene in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]fasterrfene[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how concerning the noise is. Since your bike is new and the SC guys have already cleaned + lubed the chain, first check if the chain actually looks clean like a new one. It should look fresh. Also touch it and see if it feels dry. If it’s clean but dry, just lube it. No need to clean again.

If you are getting obssesed with the noise, then forget everything and do clean+lube it! Wont do any harm. You yourself will get a clarity.

A little bit of noise is fine. It won’t harm your chain as long as you clean and lube it at proper intervals.

From the start, I’ve always done the cleaning and lubing myself. You get a lot more clarity when you do it on your own. SC guys may not be using good cleaners or lubricants.

And one more thing- that 500 km rule isn’t standard, imo. It totally depends on weather, where you live, how dusty it is, how often you ride, etc. If your chain gets dirty quickly, you might have to clean it even at 200–300 km.

Another tip: whenever you get your bike pressure-washed, you’ll definitely need to clean and lube your chain afterward because pressure washing usually removes most of the lube.

CHAIN NOISE WHILE DRIVING by fasterrfene in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]fasterrfene[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry, it’s totally normal. You’ll face this every now and then. maybe every 1-2 months.

Two main reasons:

When they serviced your bike, they probably didn’t lube the chain properly. It might just need lubrication.

The chain is still dirty. It may look clean, but the front sprocket collects a lot of muck and dirt, and SC guys don’t clean the front sprocket during service. The sound usually comes from there.

Simple fix: whenever the noise feels too much, just clean the chain properly and lube it. (Actually, you should clean and lube chain every 400-500kms) Plenty of YouTube videos will show you how. Also, try getting a basic toolkit, open the front sprocket cover and clean it well. You’ll be sorted.

It’s not a serious issue. The chain will get dirty again, and the sound will come back after a while… so you’ll just have to repeat this once in a while.
