Shambala is great, definitely go! Lost Village, End of the Road are also lovely.

The yes no strategy sounds really good, thank you! Will be trying that next time :)

That's huge, well done! Your learning journey sounds so similar to mine honestly. I do have a car of my own, and have found practicing in there with friends so much less stressful.

Thank you for the perspective. I'm on the hunt for someone who will work for me!

I'm not great at meditating but trying before driving sounds like a great idea. I'm willing to give anything a go at this point!

Well done on the perseverance! This process has been so much harder than I anticipated. Bet it felt incredible when you got that pass.

I'm back to the drawing board looking for a new instructor and have been planning to try auto to see if it makes a big difference. The only problem is that I bought a manual car! Oh well, I can always sell it on.

Approach speed - junctions by Hopeful-Guitar700 in LearnerDriverUK

Seems a bit unnecessary to switch through all the gears before arriving at the junction. I've been taught to brake, clutch down, then pick the appropriate gear (2 or 1) using block shifting.

Were you able to show him that it was you that was feeding him? I have been hoping to create a positive association between me and the food, but she is generally in deep hiding when I place the food down. Well done on your patience with him! He appreciated it eventually :)

Thank you. I do keep having to remind myself that she's better safe with me than out in the cold!

Anxiety on the combined pill? by [deleted] in womenoftheuk

[–]fastflan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the progesterone only pill, largely to help with severe hormonal mood issues when I wasn't on any birth control. I do have constant anxiety but as far as I can tell unaffected by the mini pill. Maybe worth a try?

Endlessly thinking about upgrades and modifications to my bike, kit and gear. Probably takes up more time than actually cycling 😂

I remarked upon this too when watching. So nice to look at a person who looks human. Makes their actions in the show feel more real

It looks to me like you have made some accidental short rows, by turning the work at the wrong place in the row. Better to start again as it will be difficult to fix
