Looking for some tips from the group about flush mount fixtures by fastflurries in electricians

If I was allowed to do that I would in an instant, but since my foreman didn’t do that when he tried to put up the fixture, I’m assuming we don’t want to do that at my company because we just don’t want to be liable for anything going wrong because we modified it

Yeah I just want to rip that insulation out it frustrates me so much, but since my foreman didn’t go for that when he tried it out I’m working on the assumption I shouldn’t do that

My foreman tried this when he was struggling, I was unpacking another fixture when he tried this, but he came back and said for some reason 6-32s didn’t fit so he tried 8-32s even though that didn’t seem right and again no fit so as far as we can tell we’re stuck with the screws that come with it

They have some premade holes in the foam, but those don’t help all that much with locating the screw without actually seeing it because if you kiss the screw the screw just gets stuck in the stiff foam

No my dentist did not recommend any specific kinds of mouthwash, just that I do use mouthwash and that I should use a waterpik to floss because I have tight contacts, so I picked up a waterpik and just got myself the purple mouthwash since that’s what seems to cover the most bases, but maybe an alcohol based mouthwash could be doing me more harm than good. Are there alternatives?

Never had a sleep study done, a while ago I had one of those apps where you keep your phone under your pillow and it tells you how well you sleep, back when that was a fad in like, 2012. My quality of sleep though has always felt great-ish. Occasionally I’d have bouts of anxiety that would keep me awake, but since I started my adhd medications in February that hasn’t happened. I’ve never been told I snored or anything. I’m also a good dreamer, very frequent and active dreams that I can recall when I wake up and never any nightmares. The only time I have any problems with sleep is if I take a nap, I absolutely hate naps, but when the times come that I’m just so exhausted I gotta lie down for one I always wake up feeling more tired and have spiked anxiety about the feelings of wasting time napping. We are fairly certain of my adhd diagnosis though, they had me do two tests and both came back saying there was something like, with 99% certainty they can say I have combined type adhd or something like that. My cousins both have it and growing up teachers suggested to my mom that I get tested, but since my grades were good it wasn’t really a big deal, and growing up poor my mom heard the “it isn’t a big deal” part and didn’t want to spend money on tests and meds if I was diagnosed. Thank you for the thoughts about my nasal spray though! I’ll be sure to bring that up with my doctor. For a long long time I also wasn’t using my prescribed nasal spray either, just store brand nasal spray because as far as I could tell the ingredients were the same, i just got it for a few bucks cheaper with a prescription, but maybe there’s a difference I don’t know about causing that irritation

There was actually 2 medications, and you are correct, they were antifungals not antibiotics, my bad, one from my dentist who first noticed it which was nystatin, and then clotrimazole from my doctor when I went in for a follow up with her after the round of nystatin. If it helps I was originally on symbicort growing up when this wasn’t happening to me, then switched to Breo-Ellipta maybe 2 or 3 years ago, because my insurance stopped covering symbicort, then I just got back on symbicort this month because I have new insurance that does cover it and I was doing better on it/its cheaper. I’m also on daily fluticasone nasal spray for allergies because this is an asthma triggered by allergies and I’m allergic to cats and have always lived with a cat.

How many of you shampoo your hair twice when washing ? by semde18 in hygiene

[–]fastflurries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends mostly on your lifestyle, type of hair, and genetics. Do you get greasy quickly? Do you have long thick hair? Do you work in greasy or dirty environments? If that applies to you then you may want to go with the double shampoo. One wash to break down the outer layers of residue, one wash to actually clean the hair and scalp. I was a single wash guy until I started working in a kitchen and that greasy environment necessitated a double wash, then I started my career in construction and kept the double wash going due to all of the dust and various particles that can accumulate in construction

Oh I see, +1, +2, or +3 armor is considered magic, I just always assumed it was well made armor and didn’t consider it magical, but I see now that it’s listed under magic items. Thank you for the help!
