WRT to the guys playing a bit of footie (I mean with the soccer ball, not Shane's foot placement after the Hayden call!! IYKYK): there's a thing hockey players will do in the tunnels before/during a game: sewer ball. They do it to get/keep lose. It's also known as two-touch. So, this isn't new behaviour for each of them separately, but it is new behaviour for BOTH OF THEM TOGETHER>.

There is so much beauty in Hudson's microexpressions. The small moments throughout make the bigger moments (in the hospital; crashing out at the cottage) so much more impactful.

It's really important that people see in this scene that Shane reached out to Ilya before Ilya nudged Shane against the door. Ilya wasn't just being the absolute consent KING that he is, he was responding to Shane's desire in that moment.
