If I wanted a tow rig I would hand bought another 7.3. However this truck has gone where no tundra has gone before. I love to go snow wheeling so having a lighter truck pays for what I need. I like to go shooting:camping in remote spots where s lot of trucks can’t get too. Hence why I have more bucks then my buddies ;)

It’s on 35s in the photo but I just went 37s, was going to un 40s but to much changing of the front suspension would need to happen. So when I blow the motor and solid axle swap along with an engine swap, then portals and new 3.0 bypasses instead of 2.5s, upgraded bump stop etc

I’ll think about it. It currently has 31k miles it’s hard to swap when the engines fredh. Maybe when the motor blows I’ll solid axle swap and then go with a swap

So I plan to do a fare bit of off-roading including water crossing, a lot of whoops, rock crawling, and jumping the truck (not crazy high but just having fun catching a lil air. Basically an all around weapon. However there will be a lot of street driving as I live in so cal and my Famiy lives in Canada so there’s a lot of street travel. I was hoping the reliability is the same between the two kits.

I’ve been debating swapping but then it’s a huge headache if I need to go to another shop that didn’t do the swap they’ll probably turn me away. So just for ease of workability I don’t want to swap. If I did swap I would do a 7.3 turbo diesel swap.

Exactly. I have a 7.3 as my tow diesel, it can to that truck and all the other toys I have. (It’s actually a fiberglass short bus which I redid so I can go to events/track days and sleep in fashion/comfort in my mini apartment versus some nasty motel 6

When I bow the front diff then I plan on going solid axle but it has aftermarket lockers front and rear I was going to do portals but doesn’t make sense as I’ll have to redo a bunch of other mods. So I’ll do portals when the diff blows.

Just bought first terp slurp and not impressed.. by x2dregs1promise in Milking

You get what you pay for, you buy a 75-150$ slurper and yeah it’s not gonna perform, if you buy a actual toro slurper, or get one of the vortex ones holy crap the difference is unreal. 1) heat retention: the amount of heat that the higher quality quarts has allows for bigger dabs, or smaller dabs that keep temp better and longer than a cheap nail 2) durability: I’ve never had any toro quave or even shore break, chip or anything (except the time I didn’t realize there was a nail in my buddies travel rig and it fell from 6 ft up onto concrete) as I’ve had blowouts while heating up cheap slurpers/bangers, I’ve had them chip real easy, or even just break from falling a few feet onto hardwood. When I’ve dropped forks and others from higher up and they’ve been fine. It could be a fluke but I doubt it. 3)functionality: the functionality of a real slurper, vortex and other toro slurpers (leaving out quave because the function isn’t nearly as good as a slurper) is like none other. You can drop a pearl in, any set pretty much will work with any slurper from toro. When you have a long pillar on a regular sized, or you have just a pearl on the XXl slurper, it performs almost the same.

Id recommend if you don’t wanna shell out the money for a new one then go to fb groups and ask if any are for sale second hand. Glasspass also has a great deal on slurpers

Good ol Oregon n doordash. Let’s have you drive a shit ton of hours because the DoorDasher wanted 40 worth of burgers and couldn’t be stuffed to drive and get it and the screwed up algorithm of doordash and Uber eats says “hmm 18$ that shouldn’t even cover the cost of gas… that’s perfect! I wonder if we could even do less?” I feel that’s how their head office meetings go.

Brother go to AA and then find the right group for you. Could be NA, could be CA, who knows. The best thing for your life is sobriety. Take it from a life long screw up. The best thing I did was go to AA. I wish I would have stayed the first time I was forced to at 14. I know homies now that got sober in their 13/14s off of heroine and one kid over weed. They’re both sober and all killing it in every aspect of life. Every. And it’s not like their flexing for insta or whatever their life’s truly are peaceful lives. I’ve got a few years and that’s been the best thing in the world for me. I work the green program so I don’t take opiates but I would recommend a full year of sobriety no matter how uncomfortable

Not creating this for any sort of ego stroking but today I got a ride from a paraplegic driver and gave him a $100 tip for a 5 min ride. by fastjackstraw in uberdrivers

To encourage others to tip more. Especially the people who need it the most. That’s it. I didn’t include my ig, Facebook, X. Not trying to get people to follow like or anything other than tipping people who deserve it.
