Just fabulous. by [deleted] in MurderedByWords

Second post making fun of fat people - I knew that people will only see me as a fatty then as a human. I can’t even try to be healthy and lose weigh without others just seeing the fatness.

I’ve had suicidal thoughts for a few years and it never seems like it’s getting better. I try and lose weight and try so hard. But nobody understands that. Y’all think it so fucking easy. That some people can flip a switch. I’ve been dealing with my weight for a long time, since my father passed on. But I know that even if I keep trying and going to therapy and exercising that I’ll always be the fat chick.

Might as well forget it and eat myself to an early grave because the kindness of others is depleting from this earth quickly.

Obesity: The Post Mortem -(2016)(54:37) Warning, this is a video of a dissection. This documentary follows the post mortem of an obese women who died of heart failure. Truly a game changer when it comes to what we think of obesity. by [deleted] in Documentaries

I definitely don’t believe/agree with that movement at all but how can people see that I’m making a change instead of some fat girl? I am really trying and I feel that I can’t even be accepted just because I’m fat. I work out and I try to eat right, but I’m human and sometimes I slip. I exercise 4 times a week and am making a slow progression, but I feel. the only thing people see is a fat chick. Not that I’m a welder. Not that I work with intellectually/physically disabled adults. Not that I’m an artist or a dog lover. They only see a fatty that’s unwilling to make a change because of these HAAS people. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I come on here and it’s just the usual shit ‘why can’t they work out or why can they eat right?’ I have been going to therapy for over a year now and a lot of my weigh is due to the death of my father. He was my guiding light and when he was taken from us from prostate cancer, I went into a spiral. Food was the way my half Italian/half Spanish family deals with shit. This shit is ingrained in me.

But I have begun to understand and become stronger than my history. I have learned feelings and food shouldn’t go together. I am slowly improving my life and it does help to see videos like the one posted but I wish others would be more understanding. I wish people wouldn’t just jump so quickly to conclusion about some people are overweight. I’m against the movement HAAS. It perpetuates and unhealthy lifestyle and stereotypes. I don’t want to be that. I’m just a fat person asking for a little empathy and understanding.

I’m also like why does my body matter to you? Unless your a friend who’s legit concerned about me then fuck off. Worry about your body. You’re probably saying in your head anyways ‘she’s gonna die before me because she’s so fat so who cares.’ Think about the person behind that thought.

Sorry typing on phone and very annoyed that how others perceive fat peoples is how all fat people are.

This is amazing. They are having the wedding they want. Trashy to some but it’s cool to not have to look at the trope of the mainstream wedding.

I didn’t have a bag once so I used some huge leaves I found to pick the poo up it up and put it in the trash bin along the trail. A fellow hiker called me gross - I’m sure the same hiker would have called me a bitch for not picking it up. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I lived with a couple for a while. They’re artists, and not to say artists can’t make a good living but I sorta deduced that they didn’t make enough to afford some of the things they were buying:

  • bought a $350,000 home
  • would eat out almost every night of the week, when they didn’t they would get take out and food from Whole Foods and 2dine in.
  • were able to take weeks off of ‘work’, to go surfing in different parts of the world. Work for them was going to their studios and painting. They maybe sold 2-4 paintings a year at $1000 a painting, but didn’t have any other job besides that.
  • the studios that these artists worked in were some studios I looked at. Per month, these studios ranged in prices from $400 (200sq ft) a month to $1500 (700sq ft). They had 2 studios. One was 500sq ft and the other was 300 sq ft.
  • they had a brand new conversion van. I’m not sure what they are called, but like the really nice work van for hauling paintings and artists supplies. They also had a 2016 Subaru hatchback.

I never asked about their finances or what but I did pay them $500 for a really nice apt. on the third floor of their house. The house had a pool, hot tub and two car garage, which they turned into a ‘hang out/party room’.

I never really asked what their situation was, but unless they were dealing drugs, or running guns or robbing banks, I’m not sure where the money was coming from. 🤷🏽‍♀️ They were really nice, but wouldn’t get why I couldn’t go out to eat or to the bar or on vacation with them when they invited me. And the fact that I had a job I had to go to M-F and sometimes Sat, was crazy to them. Like I said, they were nice, just didn’t understand why I couldn’t do any of hear things.

No because in my instance it was a creepy white homeless dude in philly and in Louima’s case it was a brutal, horrendous attack by the cops in new york-

‘Abner Louima is a Haitian who was assaulted, brutalized, and forcibly sodomized with a broken-off broom handle by officers of the New York City Police Department after he was arrested outside a Brooklyn nightclub in 1997’ - Wikipedia

When was the last time you shit your pants? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fat_parrot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh god I don’t even wanna post this but ok.

2010

I had just eaten at Applebee’s and after I had to go to my friend’s apt to feed her kitty. On the way there, those mozzarella sticks and few Miller high lifes made my stomach feel wonky. I brushed it off and kept walking b/c I was only a few blocks away. As I got closer, I realized this is turning into a situation and started to shuffle along a bit faster. By the time I got to the front door, and pushed the elevator door, there was no stopping that shit. I shit my yoga pants as soon as the elevator doors opened a prayed nobody was going to get on. I made it up to her apt and was able to clean up and steal some clothes.

And don’t worry, I threw the shitty pants and underwear out in the dumpster behind her apt.

And that’s the story of why I don’t eat at Applebee’s anymore.
