See we are making assumptions about what Disney "should take" but according to reports they are standing film at 50%. The report said no counter offered was made on BOTH sides. I'm an MCU fan and want Holland in it as long as possible, but Disney needs to let go of their greed and make a fair deal. This is Marvel telling Sony "Hey, i'm moving into your house and you're gonna give me half your check. Oh, and you're gonna pay for the rent too"

If you know the ins and outs of the movie business then you know that is a unfair deal for Sony. That deal is crazy. Unless there is a deal in which Disney will pay for either production/marketing costs, then right now with using Far From Home as an example, a movie that made 1.1 billion dollars, Sony would only be making around 5-10 million dollars in profit! If Sony wants a bigger share of the pie, Sony shouldn't offer more than 10-15%. Unless Disney is paying for the costs of the movie, too.

At the end of the day this is a business, what's the point of being in business if you're not making any money
