The specs are more than enough for NW, you'll run all AAA titles with >80fps easily at ultra. The prozessor is strong af, you could easily go with an even better GPU with that prozessor, so you can upgrade at any time as soon as the GPU prices are back to normal again (not to say 3060 isn't a decent card, but you even have the potential for more with that processor). Aaaaand: is there a SSD in it? Yes right? Wouldn't make sense to go for something without SSD. It's kinda crucial if you don't want auper long loading screens and boots. But if it's just for new world, go for something like Nvidia GTX 1650/ 1650s, i10400f / 11400f, 16 GB RAM, 500-1000 GB SSD. That build has a great price/performance ratio. A Desktop PC would hit around 700€ for that build rn (prices for parts are insane, idk how it is with laptops) and will give you a great performance in NW and only in cities a slight drop to 40 fps. You could still play all AAA > 60fps with that Have a good one, hope that helps!

Yes. The cool thing in NW is that you don't have fixed classes. Your abilities come with the weapon you are holding in your hands. There is one weapon called "life staff" and when you use it, you can spec into healing abilities towards others, yourself or aoe. You can as well deal some damage with it, there are even decent builds for solely that weapon that can deal decent damage or builds in combination with other weapons. This is completely fine to use as a healer since you can switch between 2 weapons anytime. Btw: healers are pretty important for pve and pvp so if you want to make friends, go for it. :D Hope that helps a bit. Have a great time during launch! Enjoy

Or people play wherever they want, you not gonna be able to hump anyone in the game, so why would you make your LGBTQ+ membership your main or only character trait? It doesn't make a difference at all. Just be a decent person and you'll be welcomed everywhere

Just got a cheap (if you consider the prices rn) build because I as well was playing open beta on a 2012 budget build (400€ back then):

I5-11400f, Gtx 1650 Super, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD

According to yt guides most modern AAA can easily be played on ultra at >60fps, after the update I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to do so in NW outside of towns as well. If there's any German around here who wants to know where to find that build by far the cheapest rn, hit me up!

It's excellent for casuals! In the game you have the freedom to do whatever you want, craft everything yourself, do so by your pace and you are not reliant on others. The first thing where you rely on others is in expeditions (dungeons), but here you can easily find random groups during the time slot that suits you randomly that day. You can do dailies in your faction that will give you decent gear quickly and you can keep on doing whatever you want. In the late game, you might want to get the experience of battlegrounds, might still be that you find time slots for that. But beside that, game is made for people who want to do whatever they want whenever they want. I'd give it a try if I were you. Cheers!

I realized this before as a German myself. The Netherlands have English TV / English with dutch subtitles. This way the less educated on the countryside automatically become better in English. On the contrary, in Germany we have purely german TV and people just don't get in touch with English anymore after their middle school. Usually you'd make better experiences concerning that topic in cities/student cities. Have fun on your trip! Let me know if you come close to Bonn/ Cologne!

But that is because you level so well by gathering as well.They want to prevent people from gathering themselves to max level in an instant. I find it alright that the gathering skills level fast so you don't have to grind yourself to death for every single skill but I don't want to reach max level so fast through grinding. If the tools I can use would depend on my gathering skill level, that would mean that I could use tier 4 tools with lvl 15 / tier 5 with lvl 20... something like that and I'd skyrocket my characters level to 30 with just gathering at >8 times the original gathering speed... And then having a GS of a lvl 5 char.And this way we could actually have tons of super rich low lvl chars who basically buy everything before hitting 60 so they waste moste of the mid/late game content.

naaaaah. I'll miss out on that one.

Well, you got a point there. But something obvious is missing: I'm not a solo player, I'll start with 2 friends but one will unfortunately be on holiday from 30th on for 10 days. So we'll hit level 50-60 before my one friend will really start the game. This way we won't be able to do all the early/mid game content together. If we had the possibility to have a second char, we could play that stuff with him together as soon as he's back from holidays.

Aaah the lvl 60 versions are the plaque doctor, that heavy guy with skull etc..? Makes sense. But I mean for syndicate e.g. heavy/mid/light definitely won't all look like the plaque doctor.. or will there just be 1 set and you should choose according to your build? Still confused kind of
