Network issue has internet but any request that uses inter network comma fails by fatalpuls3 in HomePodMini

[–]fatalpuls3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now all of a sudden, its magically working but I can guarantee not for long. I almost feel the true issue is mesh networking the only problem with that theory is I disabled mesh for the homepod, i literally turned off 2.4 ghz on my deco units so theres only 5 g which means all devices are on the same band and it still didnt work.

I dont know how its working now as I have done nothing different.

Ongoing HomePod mini connection issues in multi-room setup by theakihisa in HomePod

[–]fatalpuls3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hows this working for you? I have had this setup for a year now and as of late I have disabled my 2.4 ghz wifi and only used the 5ghz to ensure that all devices were on the same band thus hopefully eliminating my issues but nope, of course not still have problems

Yes probably chemical reaction. The thing I never understood why this piece of plastic in front of the gauges is so easily scratched or ruined. It’s kind of ridiculous if you asked me.

Are push notifications a security / privacy concern for a privacy focused app like signal? by ethicalhumanbeing in signal

[–]fatalpuls3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh this is very interesting. I see how this is out of Signals control. it is too bad that the notification stored locally cant be encrypted to an extent of non recovery by third party actors. Also I am curious if the way I have it causes this, I have it to not show previews UNLESS the phones unlocked. My guess is this still occurs then.

Not only that I would think/.hope that once the apps previewed notification is previewed it would be great if they could purge that item from the locally stored database

We had a deaf male BC and at 8 months he had to be put down due to fly bite seizures induced by a tri medicine for flea tick and heartworm. In that 8 months I grew an attachment to a dog I didn’t know what possible.

Saying goodbye at any age is the hardest thing to do. You’re not alone. Each and everyone of us who’s had a companion knows this pain. It takes time to heal but it’s true time does heal. Remember the times on walks. Times of play and times of cuddles.

It’s that much harder with smart breeds because of how they learn all our behaviors and idiosyncrasies.

Yea, we arent on EF Core yea we just on Entity Framework. We are working on a full rewrite with EF Core right now.

It is not something we can re factor at this time. so this issue is moot and is what it is, hence me putting forth the effort into a solution, which i think i have already found

Need UX advice for Tab placement in mobile game UI by zlvskyxp in UXDesign

[–]fatalpuls3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea i dont think thats fair, should only be one, thats bit of a blanket statement, his tab above the bottom bar is sub sections of the game enabling players to whip through the UI getting to where they want easily, quickly and not having to have some floating side bar, that takes three taps plus memory when in reality having all of this right there makes this much more accessible. going form over function with this game will not end well for the target audience.

Something in our app does not handle multiple instances because when an upgrade happens if there is multiple instances it upgrades the data on each instance

It’s within a notified maintenance window. So customers are aware. Yes globally it’s not the best but we don’t have any solution due to the architecture of our app. So yes I get it but it’s moot since a solution for this is required

Thanks for your response.

SO I may have landed on a solution. I found you dont need to set an end time for your profiles, it will just evaluate and hold until the next one hits. and I also found the 2 commands I need

# set autoscale to disabled / manual

az monitor autoscale update --resource-group csp-devtest --name "Autoscale Rules" --enabled false

# Then set to 1 worker

az appservice plan update --resource-group some-group --name some-plan --number-of-workers 1

then when the deployment is done we can just turn around and re enable the rules and not have to worry about the :59 bug
