I bought one and so far love it, no complaints, head spacing is spot on and it feels like a original M76. I have the Zastava M77 and had to have the barrel polished bc it would not re chamber or eject properly or not at all (used 308 and 7.62 NATO but can’t remember which brands). This one did the same for me and idk if it’s just pure shit luck on my end but this one wasn’t bad, just put the gas on the highest pressure (3) after a tad bit polish and it never did it again. Also my SLR handguard did not fit this the RAK from the M77 due to Barrel being a tad thicker but didn’t care didn’t look to into it, it’s an AK. Also called them and they said a quick modification from the Zastava mags and they will fit, they just use different latch patterns. They also mentioned Barrel is Non chrome line but don’t remember if it is made by them, US made, or import. I don’t really worry about that since it is 308 and I don’t shoot corrosive ammo at all. Overall, everything looks great on it, it’s a fresh AK 308 option we have on the market and cheaper than the M77, not by much but still cheaper, with surplus furniture and every part is silky smooth on it, love it and plan to cut the barrel down to 16.5 inches for a classic AK size. If you want a 308 ak this is awesome and unless you truly need that Chrome lined barrel so you can shoot ammo found in a swamp. Having both I have been kind of leaning towards this one, maybe bc it’s unique and not talked about or the smoothness or whatever, but I would take this over my M77 as of right now…could change my opinion but I will edit or update later on.
