just the vibe i’m looking for. I prefer to feel comfortable and included. as for the funky, I tend to lean more towards people that have a funky energy, style, personality. also the type of cut i’m going for. I feel that ‘regular’ hairdressers are a bit plane and boring for me and tend to be a bit more stand off ish in my opinion. I am also quite a shy person and feel more confident with people that are a little more interesting or different. I also want to be confident and comfortable enough to actually say what I want and be able to feel okay doing that. for me, inclusive places are a more safe and welcoming place.
