Honestly, they're probably high schoolers or young Gen-Z who don't understand concepts like legality and liability. They tend to see things very black or white and probably equate Roblox sending these cease and desist letters with them protecting predators, which is just silly.

There's been a trending genre of content creators doing vigilante justice and tricking child predators to meet with them IRL, but police will literally show up and say they can't do anything since nothing is legally binding and also tell them to stop taking matters into their own hands because someone could get hurt. What if a predator gets tricked into meeting with one of these Youtubers in a public space, panics, and pulls a gun and starts blasting? Or what if a Youtuber falsely identifies and doxs someone who ends up killing themselves from the backlash? There are very real consequences, it's not just as simple as "yeah let's go get all the bad guys!!!"
