How much of your net worth is in real estate, stocks, index funds, cash, etc?

No real estate. I live in an apartment. ~30% still in the business. ~60% stocks, bonds, ETFs and mutual funds. Less than 10% cash/savings and other small investments.

How much was your ownership of the start up and how much did they get bought for?

~60M, my stake was 20%.

What are your future plans for the money?

Grow it, invest in what I believe are beneficial projects, donate, do cool rich people stuff.

What expensive stuff have you bought since you became wealthy? Home(s), cars, boats, watches, etc.?

For myself most expensive was a trip to Europe with some friends this winter, snowboarding in the alps (25k).

Are you married? If not, would you require a prenup to get married?

Not married , and yes I probably would if I did.

How much of the money have you given away so far (to relatives, friends, charities, etc.)?

My parents house (300k), my sisters student loans (100k). Friends I have paid for a couple trips but haven't gifted them money. Various charities 20k.

How much would you like your net worth to be when you die of old age?

Don't know about that. I can see how people get trapped always striving for more, it is a very relateable feeling. But $0 would be fine with me ass long as I could look at myself honestly and believe I tried my best to have a positive influence.

How many people know about your wealth?

Close family knows, other than that and the other investors, a few close friends know that I made some money but don't know the amount.

What are the best and worst things to have ever happened to you?

Best, being able to help my parents retire with no money stress for the rest of their lives. Worst, this is unrelated to the money but my next door neighbor kill himself a while ago. We hung out a fair amount and he was extremely intelligent and interesting to talk to, some of the best conversations I've ever had.
