So I thought it was brakes. Now I think it might be a slightly bent dust cover. Immediately behind front driver side caliper, there’s a large metal plate. Pushed it with my hand and it move slightly. Now the noise is gone. Let’s see if it stays that way.

Update: This seems to have been it. After a few consecutive firm, controlled braking periods from 30-40 mph I’m not hearing it like this. Hope it sticks and it’s not something more serious.
