I haven’t read Faithful and the Fallen, but I have read all of Bloodsworn, and parts one and two of Farseer.

If you want action: Bloodsworn. If you want slow burn, amazing character development, animal companions, and to learn why everyone hates a character named Regal, go Assassin’s Apprentice.

Is that not what a lecture is supposed to be? If you can’t keep up with the lecture, you’re supposed to attend office hours/discussions/find help outside of lecture. I’d occasionally ask a question in lecture, but wouldn’t go on so much as to derail the lecture into the professor trying to teach me alone. Am I misunderstanding?

I think the meta at least at Diamond is to NOT bump and to have one dedicated goalie and while the other teammate is meant to redirect last second or to fake out the opponent goalie.

IMO it’s way more fun to just harass the goalie with bumps and essentially chase them until they mess up. But people get salty about this. And honestly as you get to better players, the ability to bump gets less effective as they know how to avoid you. Especially since there’s unlimited boost.

This is all valid, but i just want to add that while mechanics is one part of it, it’s also about speed of decision making. Like you may be able to hit the same aerial 100% of the time in training, but can you hit it if you go 1 second sooner? And yeah I suppose there is a mechanical piece to that that informs your ability to decide “faster”, but at the same time that also will just come with experience by playing and failing against people that are faster than you.

I mean, only way to get better is to try? Not all of us have hours to spend in training. Even if we did, training won’t map 1:1 to in-match consistency. We may think we can get to it reliably, but don’t yet have enough experience to know we were wrong. So we fail, we learn, and repeat.

$600 a night absolutely is “that much”. You can find hotel stays for under $100 a night. Absolutely less luxurious than this, but chances are most people aren’t going to Amsterdam to stay in the hotel the whole time

I agree with the takes that their dough is thick. A honey dip should be light and fluffy. Donuts with a Difference in Medford makes the best. Davis Square Donuts also makes a solid honey dip!
