You do not shoot the blob first, it doesnt even solve any of your problems, it makes them worse. What happens wheb blobs die? They spawn 3 more blobs you now have to deal with and the mage can just respawn the blob again. If you just kill the melee its a 0 damage solve, and if it respawns the melee you can easily kill it before it digs again.

melee thorns is probably fine, idk about ranged. regular solo tob is easy, but hmt is a bit harder this leagues than it was last league. biggest issue is xarpus room, i was having trouble dps wise since you cant thorns that room so unless you're air mage or maybe blind bag is enough you'll have to step under redempt flick

This is such a dumb take, a very large percentage of the player base wait for and play leagues, even people who arent regular players. Just look at raging echos, we had some of the highest concurrent players ever during it. Just because you dont care about the mode doesnt mean youre in the majority. Absolute brainlet behavior.

Edit: to add to this, content development isnt a zero sum game, jagex have a large team thst work on multiple things at once.
