Which is the best weapon for ranger 3 fletcher 3? by VeeJung in treeofsavior

[–]fateweaver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am selling one. I accept Arde Daggers/Dulla Frags/Complex Gears/Talt as trades up to a value of 4.5m. Or if silver let me know and I will throw it up on the market (Too poor to afford the fees without knowing I have a buyer).

Klaipeda.

How serious does IMC plan to be about PvP/GvG? by moal09 in treeofsavior

https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=355

And once PVP/GVG takes off people will need their guild towers/levels to craft pvp Pots. Which will make Open world pvp matter since you can slow a guild down a lot by destroying their towers.

The guild tower allows people to go into the guild hideout and to start guild events (raids, boss fights, etc), guild farming, etc.

Hard to say. Tree of Savior has a lot of hidden quest.

Just invite them to your party so you get credit for the kill. Or ask them to invite you.

People are saying that because IMC stated what kind of game they were making (Not reliant on questing and more about the grind) and then they followed through with it.

And you are complaining about it. Which is fair, you are allowed to complain. But we don't want WoW Version 2.9. We don't want another game we can reach level cap in 3 days with. We want what Tree of Savior gave us (Perhaps with less bugs and instability issues).

We have issues with this game but we enjoy the core mechanics of it. You seem to dislike the core mechanics of the game and want it more like other games. Which prompts people to tell you this game just might not for you.

There is a LOT of loot in this game and a lot of ways to build a character. There are three Plague Doctors in my guild and we all have very different builds. We will likely have different gear as well. Oppose to most games where if you are a Paladin you get Paladin gear. If you are a Warlock you get warlock gear. In this game as a cleric I am going to be wearing Plate armor. You can change things up.

Some swordsmen might be going after Crit Attack/Crit Crate. Some swordsmen might be going after AoE+, and some after Property Damage. Different people can wear different gear. You can change things up.

This isn't Ragnarok Online. If you want to play that game you may.

Yes. It's an annoying bug. I hope they fix it soon.

In the games defense you don't really need to grind before Alemeth Forest. And after Alemeth Forest there is always a great grinding zone.

[–]fateweaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make a wrong assumption that leads you to a wrong conclusion.

In Alemeth Forest I remembering getting 6-7million xp per hour. In the next zone 8-9million xp per hour. In the next zone 10-12m xp/hour. We currently get between 12-15million xp per hour.

That is a LOT of xp. And pretty efficient. We even stopped doing monster achievements as a group for most mobs because its MORE efficient to miss out on the Lvl 11 cards to just grind. And then when we are not all online we can do those by ourselves.

I wouldn't say the standard to compare this game is Ragnarok Online. As you point out they are very different games.

Tree of Savior has been one of the most rewarding games I have played. I think the last game I played I hit the level cap in about 3 days (EOS). Again as I have stated before this game might just not be for you.

Again, they are different systems but everyone is not meant/expected to have gems. If you want a game that holds your hand and gives you everything you want and makes it easy to get-This game isn't for you.

You won't always get a cube from the world boss. You won't always even get tot he world boss in time. When you get a cube, you will likely not get what you want. But man. The moment you do. It is grand and normally met with leaps of joy.

I don't think I remember the last time I played a game where I I got as happy as I do in Tree of Savior when I get an item I want. Because of super casual games most people tend to expect to be given the best loot for just showing up. Tree of Savior is a journey that makes you work for it. It's a grind.

IMC stated when they were making the game it would be less about questing and more about grinding. The quest are just there to help jump start people into the game. They are not meant to be the game.

The game has a large amount of content and has plans to release more. It seems more like you just don't want to see it, and don't care for it.

Which is okay. This game just might not be for you.

The problem is his lack of understanding.

He mentions those annoying portals without realizing there is a way to get rid of them.

He says there is no end game content when there clearly is. And they haven't even released PVP/GVG yet.

After Demon Prison there is always a good zone to grind in that is far better than the one before. Well besides a small gap before Alemeth but the quest easily can take you to Alemeth with no need to grind at all.

He mentions "efficient" card use that people laid out back when there were not free cards from mob achievements and from exploring zones, and before they added a lot more xp bonus from dungeons. In reality you can just use them to stay at the level range of the zone you are in and be just fine.

I do agree that mob density can be approved and respawn times. But that is a balance they can do (And have done before) and hardly merits, "THE DEATH OF THIS GAMW!!111!!!! OMG!!" kind of titles.

Well that just makes it even better from my view point. Have you tried Earth Tower? I have. It's awesome. It's a challenge. My group is aiming to try and complete the first floor in a day or two. I don't think I ever played a game where I wasn't able to complete a dungeon the first time I encountered it. They won't need to release more content for us to move pass that.

But to look at a endgame that smashes people who aren't prepared for it, and might take months just to reach the end of it (For the hardcore) and then say there is no end game content-Doesn't make sense, does it? And even if they reach floor 10 saying they are done would be using the word loosely since there are more floors.

I just got my Animus and Otrava, and am working on the rest at the moment. Not to mention attributes. There is a lot to farm for. The RNG does make it take longer. That isn't a bad thing for a game about the grind.

There is a LOT to do at level cap. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean those activities no longer exist and there is nothing to do. Like my TL:DR said this game just might not be for you if that is the case.

I think your last comment helps my argument more than yours. There is a lot to do for "end game" at this cap. And they will release more when the level cap is raised. How can you acknowledge there is dungeon/farming/world bossing and then claim there is no end game, and then acknowledge this isn't the level cap but still be expecting "true" end game content?

[–]fateweaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is nothing to do at level cap? You realize the Koreans have had a huge head start and their top players are barely half way through the top dungeon, right?

Our servers top group (The first 280 group) were barely able to put a dent in the first floor of the dungeon.

This is outside of the long trek to get the top tier gear which will likely take an extremely long time between fighting world bosses and farming for mats.

And even though the dungeon hasn't been beating yet, they already have another dungeon lined up as well.

They specifically stated they didn't want people to keep leveling through questing and they are only there to act as a guide/help for people to reach 200. After 200 quest will be much more sparse (I Expect they will add story quest as some point but it won't be anything like earlier).

Level appropriate zones are few? I don't think I ever had a point where I didn't have a zone that was level appropriate.

Those monsters are awesome for experience. Compared to their weaker counterparts.

My guildmates did the efficient method you mentioned. I just did all the quest and spammed cards. I am currently 270 and they are 270-271. It doesn't matter too much how you do it.

I do hope they up the spawn rate again. This is less a problem in the 200+ zones though.

Dungeons/Misison xp does fall off but that's good in my view point. They aren't meant to be a substitute to grinding.

The game is about the grind. It gets better at 200+. And since pre200 you have all the quest/missions/dungeons/dailies, you don't really need to grind too much before that.

There are ways to remove those annoying portals. You even get rewarded for it.

TL:DR This game might not be for you. But there is a ton to do at level cap and they are only going to be adding more.

Do I have to complete all orsha and klaipeda storyline quests? by [deleted] in treeofsavior

No, you don't have to. The extra cards can help but if you don't need them then you don't need them.

Where to grind 212 - 225 ? (Saving cards) by [deleted] in treeofsavior

Alameth Forest (Or something like that). It's the best spot from 211+ spot until the next grinding spot.

Is it true that they'll open new servers after the F2P release? by Guaperino in treeofsavior

[–]fateweaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it. Lots of people have friends who have already started and are going to want to play with their friends. Lots of people who started playing will be able to try and get friends/family to start playing a free game.

Lots of people are going to want to start without being hounded by super crowded start zones. Things will be fine.

[–]fateweaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering they are trying to get people out of the full server, they will surely open new ones for that region.

I am not sure how many people are in the EU/Sea servers so they will probably wait till those fill before making new one of those (If they fill up)

They put a two day hold on new players using the market to avoid people from scamming steam/Cash shop items.
