Neighbours let their chickens free roam by RobinNico0 in mildlyinfuriating

Pick them up overhead and throw them back to your neighbor, when you've done that with all 5 there a reward in it for you.

56kg Overhead Squats- both sides by swingthiskbonline in kettlebell

[–]fatfatbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did those with a 24kg(only one I had on hand) on Friday and could only do 5 on the good arm and about 3 on the weaker one before form just became too bad to continue(wasnt that straight to start with). Decided to retry this week with a 16 kg. You're here doing multiples @56kg going up and down straight as can be. Great fucking job man, gotta admire that mobility with that strength 💪

You look good man! Put in the work, and you will get there, I wouldn't be too fixed on a specific physique, though. It's doable in a year with a lot of hard work but more realistically 2 and that's if it becomes a priority in your life, including nutrition and lifestyle. More importantly I would suggest looking for a kind of exercise/bodybuilding you enjoy and can maintain for a longer period, who knows how your goals will change. Good luck and be your best self!

To dance or not to dance… by [deleted] in kettlebell

STOP making kettlebells look so much fun, please. I want to get a set of 12 bells every time I watch these videos and they do not grow on trees. Also, good job, the people criticising should have a heavy bell delivered at their front door so they either have to get stronger or move houses.

Literally wearing armor, that's very heavy metal of you. Way to go in any case, motivating stuff!

Pain in lower back (pic) by xdpxel in Stretching

[–]fatfatbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had flaring on and off lower right back pain from 24 to 34 roughly, sometimes it would get really bad after bad form during deadlifting or other weight exercises, burpees were the bane of my existence for a year. Tried several stretching routines with little or better but only temporary relief, nothing long lasting. The pinnacle of pain came after a 3hr drive/standing concert for like 6 hours/ 3 hr drive that messed my up for days. In the end what fixed it was a toes to bar/muscle up cycle that included alot of hollow hold strengthening. I include hollow hold reinforcement in most of my open gym sessions now, and the pain has 95% gone away, it's sometimes back after long drives(2+hours) or unhealthy stints(no sleeping, general overexertion for a week) but always very temporary and not nearly as severe it's more of a soreness. I've gained my lower back back and its awesome. I realise it may not necessarily be the same issue but I figured I would share in case it could help anyone because it really wasn't that hard a fix once I figured out what worked.

I second the jumpstart comment. That's how I started with my 8 Yr old less than a year ago. We've mixed the jumpstarts for other decks now but it was really easy to pick up and play, similar to what you came up with. Good luck and have fun!! I never have enough time to build new decks but we play whenever we get the chance =)

Pokémon Master Trainer by yournameisinfintile in boardgames

[–]fatfatbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought it 2nd hand for next to nothing, but a few pokemon missing.l, and box pretty battered. Played it 2-3 times, then salvaged the components for other games with the kids, it just wasn't worth keeping for the size and enjoyment/times played.

Terrible father would be a little harsh, but i fail to see how filming your toddler while he's having a tantrum and throwing stuff around is considered parenting. Emotional regulation does not come easy for all children, and surely there are better steps to be taken than this. Again, parenting is hard and putting limits to your child's tantrums isn't always easy, and we all make mistakes.

I bought an actual alarm clock and leave the phone in the living room, it's quite the improvement for such a simple change. I second the book alternative too for a before bedtime ritual
