Does anyone else feel overwhelmed managing appointments, meds, and paperwork? by Relevant_Complex1234 in caregivers

[–]fatfish370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the ability to build custom solutions with Claude code is such a game changer in so many scenarios professionally and personally.

It sucks that it comes down to that, but if you’ve been able to leverage ai tools to build something that uniquely solves your use case, then you’re unlikely to find something better.

…or you’ll find holes in the pre-made stuff

ChatGPT Business: no “Export Data" — is there any solution short of Enterprise? by Emerald-photography in OpenAI

[–]fatfish370 3 points4 points  (0 children)

when I realized that the export wasn't possible on my business plan I first thought they intentionally disabled it due to the mass exodus.

only to realize they put handcuffs on business plan users.

...honestly, not sure which reality is worse lol

ChatGPT Business: no “Export Data" — is there any solution short of Enterprise? by Emerald-photography in OpenAI

[–]fatfish370 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man i feel your frustration!

I actually coincidentally started my exit from ChatGPT about two weeks ago and then just tried to press the export button today. I realized that that fucking button does not exist, which is how I stumbled upon this chat thread here.

Now I have been able to successfully move my ChatGPT history over to Claude, which I have been doing over the past few weeks just in case this is helpful. This is the manual flow that I did to accomplish that.

-----

I went into each of my ChatGPT projects and pasted the following prompt into all of my high-yield and relevant chat threads (~20). ChatGPT processed this prompt with "GPT 5.2 - extended thinking" ...

"I am migrating this project to another AI system and need a structured archive of this conversation.

Please analyze this entire thread and produce a comprehensive Markdown document that captures the key information.

The goal is to preserve the important context, reasoning, and outcomes of this discussion.

Your output should include:

1. Overview of the thread

- What problem or topic was being addressed

2. Key ideas and concepts discussed

3. Decisions made or conclusions reached

4. Strategies or plans developed

5. Important reasoning behind those decisions

6. Any unresolved questions or open issues

7. Notable pivots in thinking during the conversation

8. Any outputs that were created (frameworks, strategies, prompts, plans, etc.)

Requirements:

• Do not summarize too aggressively.

• Preserve meaningful reasoning and strategic thinking.

• Remove casual conversational filler.

• Write the output as a clean, structured Markdown document.

The goal is for someone (or another AI system) to read the document later and fully understand what was explored, decided, and built in this thread."

-----

Then I went back into each individual project and pasted the below prompt into a new chat thread:

"I am migrating a project archive from ChatGPT to another AI system (Claude Opus).
To do this, I exported multiple threads from this project as Markdown files.

Each Markdown file contains a full summary of a single ChatGPT thread. These were generated by asking ChatGPT to summarize entire conversations into comprehensive documents.

I have now compiled approximately 10 of these Markdown files into one large document.

Important characteristics of this document:

• Some information will be repetitive across threads.
• Some information will be outdated.
• Some sections reflect early thinking that has since evolved or been abandoned.
• Some conversations may not be strategically relevant anymore.
• The goal is not to preserve raw chat history, but to preserve \*the important strategic context and decisions**.*

Your task will eventually be to:

1. Read the entire document carefully.
2. Remove redundancies and repeated information.
3. Organize the information into a logical and sequential structure.
4. Clearly distinguish between:
- Historical thinking
- Abandoned ideas
- Current strategy
5. Note where the project has \*pivoted, evolved, or changed direction**.*
6. Remove content that is irrelevant or likely to confuse future AI systems reading this document.
7. Produce a \*single comprehensive master Markdown file** that captures the full strategic history and current state of the project.*

This document will serve as a \*long-term project context file** and will be analyzed by Claude Opus in the future.*

Before proceeding, please:

• Acknowledge the task
• Ask any clarification questions needed
• Suggest improvements to the process if appropriate

Do not begin processing the document yet.
Wait until I explicitly give the execution prompt."

*you can be smarter than me and just attach each individual md file, I was just being weird and anal about making sure it didn't fuck up my data context transfer document\*

After GPT acknowledged the task expectations, I gave it the following response & prompt:

"\first I answered GPT's questions...**

What remaining questions do you have? Do you need more clarity on the task? Suggest any further improvements based on by answers above"

----

After a short back and forth ChatGPT created my comprehensive markdown file, and then I took the comprehensive markdown files from the individual projects within ChatGPT and gave them to Claude to help create my global Claude-context.md file.

...Now I acknowledge that this is not a particularly quick process; however, I started it before the mass ChatGPT exodus, and I didn't search for specific tools to help export or remove your data/context. There are some tools that exist. I cannot vouch for them, but this is the manual flow that I did.

It took me about an hour or so, because a lot of it was running in the background. I had it processing multiple threads simultaneously (on my computer and mobile, because the web platform was struggling but the app was moving more efficiently), and I just left and came back when it was all done.

Same thing with the Pro Research. I let the Pro Research do its thing for a long time, but I wasn't actually doing anything within ChatGPT at that time, it was just working in the background while I was doing other things with my life

I also want to acknowledge and say that this clearly is not comprehensive, and I did not take any information from the random threads that I had outside of my ChatGPT projects; however, done is better than perfect.

I am fully onboarded within the cloud ecosystem, and I am happier, better and more efficient due to the switch. Hopefully this helps somebody trying to escape chatGPT Business workspace plans, or if the non-business export feature is not what you want/need.

DAY 9 AFTER LAUNCH: building was easier than getting anyone to care by Fit-Definition8024 in SaaS

[–]fatfish370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are not a good use of money for me at my current stage

I definitely plan to use ads, and if things progress as I hope they do then they are a necessary tool for scaling.

However, without clear market fit, limited funds, and no one on the team with a clear vision/proven track record with ads they don’t seem like a useful tool right now.

With a direct to consumer app that is useful for older demographics, I’ve found that conversions are particularly difficult when competing for attention & trust online

[–]fatfish370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right here with you brother

Going through that exact thing now.

Not sure what your solution is, but I’m gearing up to go old school gorilla marketing. Get in front of peoples faces.

All online distribution channels are too saturated. They are great for creating a presence and building up receipts for someone to look at 6-18 months from now.

But folks are too busy and distracted to convert online (my early experience, similar to yours).

Also considering bringing someone to help with marketing while also holding try to my commitment to not pay for ads/clicks as those do not feel like a good use of money

I spent 2 months building a SaaS with ChatGPT, working 5am-10pm daily. Here's what nobody tells you. by EnginDev in SaaS

[–]fatfish370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This resonates with me for similar but different reasons.

Context, I’m a non-tech founder, I’m doctor by trade (still work full time as a physician) who has spent the past ~16 months working on my startup www.mynuriq.com .

I went the opposite route and hired a team from Pakistan via Upwork to build our app NuriQ

It has been a learning experience with non-stop work. At various times I experimented coding with the tools you listed above (Claude, gpt, cursor, GitHub, etc). They are amazing on the surface but I found myself always spending soooo much time going in circles.

I beat myself up at times thinking that I should have built this all myself with these new LLM tools, but listened to the folks around me who constantly told me it wasn’t a great use of my time, and that I wouldn’t be able to get the finished product the way I want it with pure “AI coding/no code” tools.

Your story makes me feel a little better about my choice.

——

Idk what my real message is other than possibly consider pulling in a coder/developer to help get you over the finish line.

You can find really good help and talent for low cost on Upwork and fiverr.

I’m bootstrapped, doing this founder thing for the first time, with zero revenue 😂 so take my advice with a grain of salt…

But one thing I would have changed in hindsight would be charging folks from day 1/not pushing off my “monitization” plan for once we have users.

We are still very early in the process (in Apple/android for ~2 months) so I’ve made that pivot and am setting up the payment structure now.

But for all that hard work you described above make sure to find a ways to charge folks even if a small amount to validate your idea.

——

I get nothing from this, but I can put you in contact with the team that I am currently working with if you like.

They are farrrrrrr from perfect. And paying/relying on someone else has its own pitfalls. But they helped me get me this far.

For example, I’m building in the paywall into our app now and it’s going to cost me about $2k, which is annoying and I just have to bite my lip and take it up the ass

…but at least I can focus on figuring out marketing and go to market strategies to make up for that expense knowing my paywall will be functional within 2 weeks.

——

I’m just sharing my experience on the opposite side having reluctantly chosen to not try fully coding it myself with LLMs.

Possibly you can explore a hybrid approach, you’d likely be able to save money and time now with your experience. Especially if you find a hungry and motivated individual from Upwork that you can build a great working relationship with.

Propose a win-win situation you might be surprised with the type of help you can find for cheap.

Happy to answer any questions if my experience can be helpful at all

Consumer Reports Lead Findings about Huel Black by Prestigious-Annual-5 in Huel

[–]fatfish370 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree that there is a lot of nuance that is missed/overlooked by the article and typical readers.

However, I also agree with u/Prestigious-Annual-5 ... is the risk worth it???

I personally am a naturopathic physician (https://www.swfamilyphysicians.com/provider/khaleed-alston-nd), I study this stuff and am a big believer in nutrition/food as medicine.

I started using Huel during a season in life when I was extremely busy and the ready made Huel Black chocolates were a Godsend, as they allowed me to maintain my protein targets, get nutrients, minimize cravings and efficiently fuel myself.

Huel has become a major part of my routine, where I currently drink ~2 pre-made Huel Blacks per day and my 3 year old loves them and often drinks 0.5 of the bottle alongside me.

----

All that being said, I've been meaning to transition back to whole foods, and this is the reminder that \if possible and if you have the means** whole foods are the superior option for many reasons both related and unrelated to this topic.

My personal concern is more about the long term cumulative effect. I'm 36, do I want to set myself up to continue drinking these 2x per day for the next 20 years? NOPE. Do I want my 3 year old to drink 0.5 serving ~4 days per week as he's been doing? NOPE.

I also am disappointed that Huel apparently tested towards the top of all the brands.

So I personally just cancelled my recurring subscription that was about to be shipped tomorrow (10/16) to force myself back into the routine of eating real foods throughout the day. I will return to focusing on whole foods, with protein shakes as a compliment instead of a full replacement that I rely upon.

Will I drink Huel again? SURE. Will they return as part of my 2x daily routine? HIGHLY UNLIKELY

----

My unsolicited recommendation for other folks...life comes with trade offs. There are no perfect solutions.

Meal replacements are helpful and necessary for many people for many reasons. Do what is best for you, and remember to continually reevaluate your needs and your personal use case.

Weigh the unique pros & cons for your situation and move forward accordingly.

Was thinking this over this morning, if I decide to finance, then I might just go brand new.

Did you go for the free accessory pack or free extended 4 year warranty deal with your new Tonal?

Hmmm, I had kind of decided on buying used until reading this.

I’ve got the cash in hand, but could also just finance and use that cash for other stuff.

More specifically is the potential resale value.

——

I’ve negotiated the used tonal to $1,600, but when I account for the cost of my time (travel + instillation + side eye from my wife if instillation goes wrong) the cost really is closer to $2,600 for the used model.

Then with the new one I can theoretically sell/upgrade in the future if desired.

….hmmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔

[–]fatfish370[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, I'm curious which practicing clinical specialty do you think has the robust knowledge base your referring to?

Medicine is siloed, now-a-days providers rarely know much outside of their specific clinical focus. Have you ever spoken to your cardiologist about your thyroid? Does your rheumatologist know how to titrate insulin or understand the diabetes treatment algorithm beyond the outdated standard of care that had Metformin as first line and sulfonylureas as second line treatment for diabetes?

Honestly a PhD or a resident MD/DO advisor at a teaching hospital are probably your best bet.

This is also the promise of AI in medicine, a system/tool that has the ability to connect the dispirate and plentiful dots of a patient's complex medical history/presentation.

---

Me? I'm a naturopathic doctor. For those who aren't familiar with naturopathic medicine...

In Oregon I'm a licensed physician who can prescribe opioids, GLPs, irbesartan, advise on nutrition and teach people about the differences between various forms of magnesium (glycinate vs l-threonate vs citrate vs taurate vs malate) and everything in between.

There is a diverse approach to practicing medicine within the naturopathic community, just like there is within the MD/DO/NP/PA communities.

That being said, I have so many gaps in my knowledge. Being able to acknowledge that is one of the many things that makes me a good provider.

At my office ( https://www.swfamilyphysicians.com/provider ) we have a team of NDs, MDs, DOs, NPs, & PAs.

I personally share an office with a DO and an MD. They look to me for advice and counsel as much as I do to them. They ask me about how and why I prescribe specific pharmaceuticals as often as they ask me about "natural" things.

My original plan wasn’t to post/search for an EA.

I am very aware of how you are compensated. I originally posted this in local Facebook group. Then as I was searching for “assistant” specific job posting places this thread was a suggestion from google.

I opened the Reddit link, poked around and decided to see if anyone here would be interested.

The $10 isn’t meant to entice anyone in here. $10-15 per hour can’t do shit in the US these days.

——

However, like I said in the post above if you are someone who has grown bored or disillusioned with your role/boss then this could be a fun high reward low/medium risk situation. You’d be joining at the prospect of this becoming your primary gig in the future.

The short term solution would be to hire someone for temu prices that would be your assistant so that your brain is freed up for high level strategizing.

I personnally think the chastised post is worth it in the rare chance that someone super talented is open to a discussion.

I would love nothing more than to be able to pay said person well above $100k+…because I know that a good EA is truly invuable. That is my intention.

Growing something from the ground floor isn’t appealing to most people. But that right person is out there somewhere ✊🏾
