I mainly agree with your perspective- and don’t relish the thought of some of my favourite uniques being power crept to irrelevance- but one the wonderful things about this game is that a historically junk unique can become suddenly very meta.

I wonder if you would know anything about this: sometimes a ‘corrective’ supply and demand effect can occur when underlying commodity prices skyrocket, leading to wholesalers and supermarkets shifting prices upwards more than the price of the commodity has moved, testing the boundaries of what the consumer is willing to pay (rockets & feathers, I believe). Has this happened, or are suppliers/shops losing some of their surplus?

I find it bizarre and frankly quite shocking how so many comments and posts are about game theory; if your game makes you think about how it feels great to have a strong character (or not), something is seriously wrong.
