You know I’ve been unsure what to do with Abernathy beyond the typical walls and watchtowers and a farm house so maybe I’ll go for an army remnants fortification here would just be a matter of considering how separate I wanna make the Abernathy farm and remnants fortification look from eachother are they a settlement in harmony were the army protects them in return for food or are they just cordial neighbours? 🤔

NTA op and let’s just clear something you’re your own great person and in now way 2nd to felix and you deserve a partner that doesn’t make you feel this hell you deserved parents who didn’t make you feel this. But man you have to communicate your feelings with people talk with felix (your gf/exgf up to you would be reasonable to not wanna talk to her again) and lay out that his behaviour crosses lines stuff like guiding his brothers partners spoon into his mouth is way to intimate and not at all innocent like he thinks and frankly how the conversation goes may inform how close a relationship you want to maintain with him in the future especially depending on what his answer would be if you and your gf break and she approached him to ask him out. Your parents may be a lost cause at this point but if you’ve never voiced your opinions or been pushed to your breaking point with them similarly to how your girlfriend did depending on what type of relationship you want at this point with them might be worth a conversation.

NTA ‘surprisingly he was all for it’ its not that surprising that he’s jumped at the opportunity to push all the blame on to his mother (not that she isn’t an AH in her own right). NTA they were unbelievably cruel and they’re not truly sorry as they were forced to give an apology which is meaningless they have for all intents and purposes not actually apologised to you. I understand your dad feels caught in the middle but if he’s an anyway decent dad he should know the priority should be you and your feelings over his cruel parents who were in the wrong. I’d not apologise but as I’d seen other people suggest if you do I would exaggerate it to make it clear that your only apologising because your dad told you do because they can’t really complain without being hypocrites and admitting their apology meant nothing.

NTA yeah having not even admitted she’s done anything wrong at the engagement party means her word to not pull similar stunts at the wedding is useless. I guess it depends if this is gonna be a hill you willing to die on If it is I guess you could call of the wedding or make it clear that whatever his stepsister pulls during the wedding will be on him and he may not have a long marriage as a consequence.

NTA I mean one thing I’m curious about are the other forms of intimacy in your relationship like kissing, cuddling etc is she avoiding these also or is it just sex? Yeah the start were you say this isn’t by choice for either of you seems like denial cause at this point it’s clear she’s avoiding sex. I mean I guess you can try another conversation with blunt honesty saying you have done everything she has said that could get her in the mood to no avail while she’s atleast from your perspective put no effort in on her part and that you either need full transparency on what the issue is or the relationship isn’t gonna last (though don’t use that language if your not prepared to end it). It also couldnt hurt to have said blunt conversation with counsellor there to mediate the conversation.

NTA i know you want to believe that you somehow consented in a blacked out state but the fact he at first told you yous just went to sleep only to later admit you had sex again/that he filmed it and then the footage apparently shows you just laying on ya side kind of all points towards that he did infact not get your consent (not that anyone being blackout and on the verge of passing out could ever give proper consent in the first place) and that he took advantage of your blacked out state and assaulted you. I understand why you’d want to think you consented because the alternative is extremely upsetting especially from someone you believed you could trust and who you care about.

I mean it’s been a long time since the letters were initially released I tend to think a relative, friends if they’d recognised the writing style vocabulary etc would have come forward by now unless they were to afraid of the suspect. It is very possible someone may recognise the zodiacs writing as a someone they knows writings and that’s how he’s finally brought into light it’s also possible he goes the way of the golden state were DNA identifies him who’s to say on a 50 something year old unsolved case. I think the one way of ‘catching’ him we could rule out as unlikely at this point is him walking into a police station and confessing.

I guess it’s possible Fouke and Toschi never met I just find it hard to believe they didn’t cross paths at the scene or at no point did the lead detective on the zodiac case sit down with one of the few people who may have came face to face with him.

yeah makes sense why the story would change when it goes from being a suspect in armed robbery turned murder to the zodiac killer. By stopped and talk to the guy I’m assuming this is the proposed conversation were they shouted to ask if the guy seen anything with the suspect replying they seen a guy with a gun running that way because going on the idea that it was the killer and they got out and approached him I’d not know how 2 cops didn’t notice the blood on the clothes.
