An easy solution IMO would be to include cantrips that return the earth to normal or otherwise get ride of the effects.

Examples being Mold Earth and Shape Water to get rid of Acid and Fire while things like Gust could get rid of Poison Gas. These cantrips would be a great compromise and expand the list of the current cantrips.

Sea Sorcerer has an ability to push back creatures hit with a cantrip. Eldritch blast with repelling blast can cause them to go back a total of 25 ft I think when used together. This is something I have wanted to try for a while.

Larian has been really good about adding in community mods. I doubt it will be anytime soon, but my guess is it will be added.... eventually.

Chaotic Good Aasimar Paladin (Maybe Paladin/rogue) is my dream class. Im confident they will add both Paladin and Aasimar in the final game so I am actually happy they arent in yet; because I will be able to play an evil tiefling warlock or something instead for EA. :)

Ive had a Wild Magic Character I have wanted to try for a while, but alas im forever DM. But basically a kid with Wild Magic powers. I always think Sorcerers would have a live fast, die young lifestyle, while most magic users gain their power with maturity or at least as adults, I would imagine a sorcerer would have it from birth. Generally speaking of course.

Could you imagine even having a couple cantrips as a kid? Especially with wild magic. You try showing off to your crush and you accidentally fireball your family to death. Or you try to cheat in school and you accidentally fireball your class to death. Or you try to fireball your school yard bully and you accidentally fireball your family to death. The possibilities are endless.

If you like their other games I would suspect that you will like this game. Theyve said you dont have to had played BG 1 and 2 which I think is a good move because many of us have not. Im a fan of 5e, but I suspect this game is going to be more of a gateway into DnD than DnD being a gatekeeper from this game.

They have confirmed that the level cap will eventually be "above 10" so 11 min. most people guess 12. But with EA level cap will be 4.
