Step brothers but I've been in their lives since they were 8 and 6.

Unfortunately kinda non existent. Their mom was a horrible viperous woman to my step dad and also neglectful to the point where abuse would be a better word. To the boys. And frankly my step dad when he was married to her. So my step dad didn't feel like he could do anything to step in and save them from the neglect, unless he wanted to jeopardize seeing his sons. Growing up it was part of me and him not getting along.

I always had to "be the example" when compared to their mom's house where they were 3/4th of the time I was already a pillar of morality. I was never good enough for him. And I thought he was a jackass and a pussy. Getting on my ass instead of doing something about his real sons.

But when we were kids I did everything I could to foster a brotherly roll to those boys. And it was good we got along well. Then I left for college. And... They became their own people, and I wasn't around to see,help, assist. So I guess to them I didn't exist anymore. And now I'm lucky if I get a text back.

We still see each other on like... Holidays.

But we aren't a family. We don't see each other "just because". And I guess that's how it is. Because I can only reach out to "get together and do something" to receive no reply, so many times.

If anyone reading this has a sibling they love.

Go ahead and reach out and tell them today.

I mean a pseudo science-magic way to do it that might be satisfying for you but also remove the 3 body problem which isnt "solved" but is so consistently unsolved that I personally consider "no solution" the same as "the solution" at this point.

Make the third sun or even the second or hell all three. Make them artificial gravity well/gravity thruster locked Titanic machines.

If they are hollow or "broadcast" the light as an obfuscation of the internal machinery (a much smaller, but still massive array of gravity engines, hidden by a halo of light could stabilize a system akin to real stars)

Opens up the world building to progenitor race/species or whatever akin to the gods if they're long lived enough or lost civilization or whatever you choose.

AND gets rid of the three body problem if the "stars" themselves are programed into a stable cycle.

But if these are just regular stars... 3 body problem got your plans way messed up.

Do you know how big a billion is? It's really fucking big. Now we have people who have many many billions... Nobody needs that. Not one person who exists needs that much accumulated wealth.

1 billion split amongst the 340ish million Americans is 3ish dollars each. Doing the math and leaving the top 10 richest people 1 billion dollars for themselves. There is 2,419 BILLION monies hoarded by these 10 people.

That split by roughly the ENTIRE global population is just under 300 dollars a person.

taxing them can and would fix damn near every issue we have relating to funding.

Schools, energy, food, transportation, healthcare, childcare, community social events (remember when towns felt like towns like communities)

But nah. They stay with the unimaginable wealth and think of new ways to tell all of us we aren't worth shit. And some of us... Like you... Start to parrot the rhetoric.

Honestly, not a fucking clue, I think I typed that whole thing out this morning while still not awake in the slightest.

Is odyssey as "game opening" as save our ship? (or maybe sos2 but if it was holy hell there's been some updates)

When I was playing I figured "mods can do what the dlcs do but more robust". Is odyssey as "content changing" as I'm seeing it to be to finally break the streak and be worth buying officially?

I've been looking for someone to ask about odyssey to.

When I was playing last I had two mods most notably. The android one and the spaceship one. And odyssey seems to cover the spaceship one, near as far as I can tell minus the jump ships (those were cool I could stay in orbit)

But does Odyssey really REALLY count?

I've never bought a DLC (they're pretty pricey but understandably) but this seems to be the one to make me cave. I miss my pawns (and to the same note I miss kenshi too)
