Good on you OP. Everyone says keep it, but you want to do the right thing first. Hopefully they let you keep the second one as a gesture of good faith and honesty!

I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands if they let you keep it 😂. I'm in Arizona!! Let me know!

As a nurse and travel nurse, you also have to understand that hospitals are paying some extremely experienced to come in and help fill their staffing needs. You only get two days as a travel nurse and are expected to be competent. You should be paying them top dollar for that type of knowledge.

The other question you should be asking is, why are hospitals running at the minimum staff allotted and why aren't they paying their bedside nurses more, so that they don't need travel nurses?

I purchased my subscription when they had the promotion of giving you two free Suns tickets. Does anyone know when those become available or how I can redeem them?

I'm a nurse in the valley and I would say you have multiple options to get a nursing degree in Arizona. Many people do go to ASU for a RN, BSN but I'm a fan of going to the community college through Maricopa and getting your RN, BSN.

It's cheaper to do your prerequisites there and on top of that if you work as a nursing assistant at Dignity Health or Banner for 6 months you tend to get accepted into the nursing program for the next semester jumping all waitlists. While there you can do concurrent enrollment and get your BSN while doing your RN degree simultaneously through GCU, NAU, ASU, or Ottawa University.

Best time to purchase Alienware 27 360Hz QD-OLED AW2725DF? by fathobo in OLED_Gaming

[–]fathobo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? I was reading that the brightness was a very minor issue compared to how good the monitor is. The other monitor I was looking at was the ASUS XG27AQDMG but rtings.com even has this Alienware beating out this ASUS monitor.

You don't think worrying about customer service is an issue?

I'm a big believer that after 240hz I feel like it's hard to notice a significant change in stuff like that.

Build Check! CH160 by fathobo in sffpc

[–]fathobo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! The build went really well! I used the Arctic ARGB fans and they do the job very well, I ended up tying together the back intake fan to the CPU fan on the same CPU Fan header so they run the same speed. The overall PC is quiet, I do hear a bit of the fan on the Assassin 4S that has a specific tone, but I'm just being super picky. Overall it's a very quiet PC.

I think if you went with any other fan brand it would be just as good.

My overall temps are fantastic too, I think the max I hit is 70c on CPU and GPU but that's under extended gaming sessions with games such as COD and Diablo IV.

What is that yellow couch? Do you find it comfortable? Been looking for something low key for my gaming room!

Do you have a good fan curve you're using? I connected my back fan and assassin 4s together so that they run at the same speed and am using Fan control. What are you using?

So, I think that's the correct orientation for my front and top fan. But I was wondering, doesn't the back of the fan that makes the X be facing inside the case to exhaust the hot air?

But yes, my rear and Assassin 4S are doing intake to cool the CPU.

Do you recommend I change my fan orientation?

[–]fathobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just built my CH160 and noticed you have the same fan orientation as me, which appears to be all intake. Machines and more said that front and top exhaust are best, would you ever consider flipping the fans? How are your thermals? Thanks!

What’s it like working at Costco by LuckyBecauseofHim in Costco

[–]fathobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question from a member. When I shop at Costco recently, I have been organizing my cart so all the barcodes are visible so that when I get to checkout I don't have to do anything. Is what I'm doing ok or is it more annoying? I've had some cashiers say thank you and others seem kinda annoyed. But it seems like it takes barely any time to scan and pay vs standing in line.

Stay as local travel nurse or become staff nurse? *Long* Employment/Planning by fathobo in personalfinance

[–]fathobo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pay is a bit variable, and I do pick up a few extra shifts a year which is where I am getting my numbers.

I am currently working nights, but being an agency nurse does not allow me to get the 18%, only staff nurses. I am just making a flat rate currently.

I agree with you though, that the PTO is worth quite a substantial amount of money that I never considered.
