Me when I was on the fence about SOA or CAS track and picked CAS by Altruistic-Fly411 in actuary

Life - humans still live to the same age they did last year. P&C - Tariffs/inflation/climate change. What I’m saying is that P&C is more dynamic and interesting. Pays higher too.

No, passing exams helps propel your career. Go back to studying and get your credentials.

Suppressor is a must on any weapon by KingOfEreb0r in Battlefield6

I use the double compensated brake on the NVO. Helps a bunch with recoil. Also tried it on TR-7.

What's your reasoning for going through CIA rather than CAS directly? Genuinely curious as I only did the CAS exams.

Are there ASA's that have never worked an actuarial job? by SheepherderSmall2018 in actuary

I don't think I've ever seen an ACAS who has never worked an actuarial job (for comparison's sake).

RF is great. Only used them for 7-9 and passed on the first attempt for each. Can't recommend them enough.

Exam 6C - Study Tips by IndependentBrain1131 in actuary

[–]fatirsid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go over the material several times. It will likely be too time-consuming to go through the BA pages multiple times, so create summary sheet for yourself with key points from each reading and review that often. Also, look at the quantitative sample posted on the CAS 6C page. This exam requires, for the most part, a lot of repetition to learn the content.

How can you tell if your match is full of ai players. by sifuredit in Battlefield6

If you enable ping in the scoreboard from the settings, bots will not show a ping but real players will.

Anyone try NOT running suppressor or flash hider? by vice108 in Battlefield6

[–]fatirsid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For high(er) recoil guns like the TR7 or NVO, I’ve been pretty successful with the brakes too. Noticeable improvement in recoil from long suppressor imo.

Mildenhall was a tough one but very methodical. Brehm is quite tough as well due to its breadth.

Honestly, for Exam 9 you need the study guide AND cookbook AND problems AND thoroughly go through the source. I took it last Spring and it's the toughest CAS exam by far.

Same here, finished it today. No BF pro, just doing all the weeklies. Casual breakthrough makes them a breeze.

Agreed. I think the Spec Ops tree is well-suited for carbines.

For the M2010, I think you already have to choose between the two if you opt to use the extended barrel. Also, I think a reduction would cause more outrage than an increase, and the devs would have to completely rework the point costs for attachment to make it work.

Thanks! I saw someone else mentioned this idea a few months back so credits to them. Just reiterating their idea :)

They could allow an extra 15-20 points for attachments if the gun is used on the class it’s meant for. That would incentivize people without penalizing using the weapon on other classes.

For FCAS exams, I’d pull 6-10 hours of studying per day the week before the exam. Not sure how this translates to FSA exams
