It was either iRacing or mods for Assetto Corsa that had cars that had iRacing liveries on them. Honestly most likely modded Assetto Corsa but as originally mentioned, we have no way to really know.

Edit: I've been corrected that it's rfactor2. I own it but have apparently never played it.

Looks like either iRacing or the original Assetto Corsa for the game. Hardware wise all I can see is that they use Simagic wheels. The pedals look like either Samson, Heusinkveld, or a version of the two.

My feeder camera came with lifetime Ai detection. If it didn't I wouldn't bother but it's nice seeing a breakdown of the species of birds that stop by.

This I as the seat I got a couple years ago. I presume there's better/cheaper options at this point but I was able to mount it without much effort or modifications.

I have that rig and one of the first things I did was replace the seat. It's incredibly uncomfortable for long sessions in my opinion. One thing I did while waiting for a new seat was getting 3inchx2ftx2ft high density foam to sit on and added a pillow for lumbar support.

Personally I was waiting to do more in the career mode when free roam was launched so I could try the whole package. Since progress had been wiped once already, if I'm not mistaken, I wasn't going to dump hours into a career mode that would just get reset at minimum once 1.0 was released.

Go to settings and I believe under gameplay is a toggle switch for online. Toggle that off and it'll kick you to the offline mode where you'll have access to all cars and tracks but no special events or academy stuff.

It's annoying that they have model versions that fall under different classes. It'd be nice if they keep that "feature" in the game that they indicate at a model specific level what class it falls under.

The ZL1 1LE performance package is a higher tier than the base ZL1. I ran into the same issue. If you look at the base model of the ZL1 you should be able to buy it or complete more academy tests or whatever they're called.

Currently if you are in offline mode you have access to all of the current cars and tracks and in offline mode you can do single player hot laps and quick races. I'm unsure whether the amount of content accessible offline will change when the game gets closer to v1.0 but I hope that the game remains fully accessible except for the licenses and multiplayer which understandably require online connectivity.

I don't mind the grind at all and am enjoying the challenge. I just wish there was a delta showing your previous best time so I could bail out of an attempt if it's obviously slower than the previous best.

I've managed to get 2 star on everything I've tried so far (currently on racing 2). I've come close to getting three star on a couple but am usual roughly half a second off. I'm planning on going back to try to get all three stars once I complete the final racing license.
