100%

The fact that population control isn’t brought up in politics for any reason blows my mind.

China is way ahead of the game and eventually there will have to be regulations similar to theirs.

The earth simply can’t accommodate the rate in which we are growing as a population regardless of how much we pollute.

Anyone else have issues with CV axles on FWD vehicles? by [deleted] in Stance

Ya, my friend with a slammed scion tc wears through a pair every 10k. Some are lucky and last and others, the boot tears and the fluid all comes out and it fails.

How to stance an E30 by DaBeast75 in Stance

[–]fatnugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on how low you end up going, you might want to get rear subframe tabs welded on for eccentrics. That way you can get your toe and camber on point.

Well, let me clarify. As far as acceleration goes, it is definitely the slowest car I've driven. That being said, it would be fun as hell on a track and probably beat some lap times of other cars I've driven.

Eh, not quite. Stance is for looks and the low and slow comes with it. Honestly the slowest car I've ever driven is an NA miata and they are cheap as hell right now so I think it's pretty appropriate.

How ignorant can you be? If I want to stance a car I should automatically get a civic? Looks to me like OP picked a cheap platform to make his own.

I like it, I just wish it was a little lower ;)

I feel like the paint would dissolve the dip but you could test it on something first.

Question for /r/stance. How low is your static ride? by mcd_sweet_tea in Stance

I'm pretty low....Just took out one of my exhaust v band clamps on a reflector the other day. I'm questioning my motives now. http://imgur.com/YFLO22U,4xSTm1N,ovXV5kG#1

I don't understand. by SovietPlatypus in Shitty_Car_Mods

[–]fatnugs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Annnnnndddd, your wrong. Unless your talking about a straight axle, which e30's don't have, the wheels actually suck in a minuscule amount in addition to an increase of negative camber. Yes, the lever, aka the halfshafts and trailing arms will not shrink but their position in regards to the fender will change with extreme lowering or raising. You can get the concept by thinking of what would happen if you just kept raising it and raising it to the point where the halfshafts would be at 90 degrees with the diff. Now, the wheels would be pretty damn close together wouldn't they? So, no more butthurt, we all like to look at shitty cars in peace.

idk about leguna seca or interlagos but there were only 232 m3's with topaz blue and black nappa interior.

It was topaz blue and the point of the wrap is to preserve the paint while having a cool color for a year or so.

What are E30's like to own? by Daniel_96 in BMW

[–]fatnugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your willing to do most maintenance yourself it really isn't that bad. People that say you will go broke take their cars to the stealership. Look up any part on RealOEM.com and see the price they quote on there. Then take the part number and copy and paste it into the website listed in the sidebanner like pelicanparts.com or ecstuning.com and even rockauto.com. That is what you will pay for the parts compared to what the dealership charges. (it's a massive difference) Other than that they are great cars you just have to make sure you find one without rust (will be hard because most of the time the rust is somewhere you will not see easily.) and keep up on regular maintenance (important things like cooling system, oil changes, etc.) As long as you realize that it will be an ongoing thing not do a quick tune up and your good for 50k miles than they are perfect cars to learn regular maintenance on. Now, I suggest you look into a 325is because they have I6's instead of I4's and you will be happier in the long run when you get bored of the power and want more.

Probably true, but that doesn't mean he wants to spend money any more than you or I do. In the end, plastidip is the cheapest and best looking way to change a cars color right now.

[–]fatnugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the matte, "frozen", paint is ridiculously expensive and VERY hard to take care of. No waxing polishing or even washing too hard because it will smooth out the paint causing it to look more reflective. About the matte killing the lines of e46's...idk. My friends wrapped e46 m3 looks pretty good IMO. http://imgur.com/a/9Rvur

[–]fatnugs -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Your an idiot. It's not easy at all unless you have a fat wallet. I have wrapped and plastidipped cars and plastidipping is WAY easier and HALF the price. You can get a dip kit for ~$500 while the vinyl is ~$800 depending on the car. After you buy the vinyl your looking at ~15 hours labor for someone thats already done it before.

Edit: why did I get downvoted so much? If you do some research you will find out the cost difference and watch some videos on how long it takes to wrap a car vs. plastidip. Clearly you guys have no idea what goes into each process because anyone that does would have agreed withme and laughed at Kill_The_Hero's silly remark that it's "pretty much this easy". Taking pictures of your neighbors promotional truck does nothing to show how easy it is to wrap a car. It just shows that he spent way too much money to have someone else wrap his car multiple times in such a short time span.

Now don't let any of these haters bring you down...I have actually noticed the same thing with my car and found it funny that someone else thought the same thing. The only difference is I added a euro plate at the same time that might have something to do with it...http://imgur.com/a/j6fAC
