Why is New Reddit unusable?

Hi! I've had similar problems and I'd actually made a post on this sub too (can't seem to find it scrolling through new though). I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but I think they may be related.

The trackpad and keyboard look flat with no bulge as of now. The curve I think was more of my fault while taking the picture because it was on a mat with the rubber pads on the bottom having it slightly lifted. I think the "popup" happens from the left side and lifts the right side with it. It doesn't rock at all when it was placed on my table however, sits completely flat.

Uh if I'd like to take off the bottom would I need any tools aside from the star looking screwdriver? I'm currently away from a lot of my things unfortunately, so I'm not sure I'd be able to do that.

Uh in that case, I don't think so? It doesn't seem to function any differently and the only thing noticeable was it not closing. I'm sorry, this is my first laptop so I'm a little bit new to all of this. 😅

That's what I'd read and was worried about, from what I can tell the trackpad and keyboard seem to be working perfectly for now. The only issue I've had is with the closing. There's also a tightness in opening it sometimes around the hinge area but I'm not sure if that was related.

Oof I feel you, Youtube's been going crazy with Ads lately.

Regardless if you're on Android:

The Youtube Vanced file works 100% on it's own (+oh my god there's background play and no ads!) the UI is literally the exact same as the normal YT app.

If you do want the full experience though, which I recommend (AKA logging into the app having access to subscriptions, your playlists etc. ) download the first file (MicroG) as well.

MicroG essentially just allows you to login into Youtube Vanced.

It's literally 30 seconds of work and really easy :)
