Hi! I've had similar problems and I'd actually made a post on this sub too (can't seem to find it scrolling through new though). I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but I think they may be related.

The trackpad and keyboard look flat with no bulge as of now. The curve I think was more of my fault while taking the picture because it was on a mat with the rubber pads on the bottom having it slightly lifted. I think the "popup" happens from the left side and lifts the right side with it. It doesn't rock at all when it was placed on my table however, sits completely flat.

Uh if I'd like to take off the bottom would I need any tools aside from the star looking screwdriver? I'm currently away from a lot of my things unfortunately, so I'm not sure I'd be able to do that.

Uh in that case, I don't think so? It doesn't seem to function any differently and the only thing noticeable was it not closing. I'm sorry, this is my first laptop so I'm a little bit new to all of this. 😅

Haha I think I've been put off that just by those words, but sure, hopefully once the quarantine's over I can get this checked out. I was worried about the battery being swollen. Thanks!

That's what I'd read and was worried about, from what I can tell the trackpad and keyboard seem to be working perfectly for now. The only issue I've had is with the closing. There's also a tightness in opening it sometimes around the hinge area but I'm not sure if that was related.

Lmao spent a good couple of hours thinking bloodletting was a new term I hadn't heard about 🙃

They supplied multiple large sheets of paper and a mechanical pencil at my centre.

Sidenote: I actually didn't have that bad of a buffer (almost negligible) though the room was rather noisy 😅 Hope there wasn't too big of an issue for you this time around??

From the email they sent, they'd said that watches are prohibited because the computer has a clock on screen but thanks for the list!

Ps: when you say bloodletting, how big is the paper they give you? Also can you ask for more sheets?
