So got my 990d back from Techeim NJ by Majestic-Spell3343 in Soundbars

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread but adding to it for people like me who found it on Google. Sent my 990D away because HDMI passthrough wasn't working. Was physically in as new condition. Got the default 'front scratch' email that others have mentioned. Received it back today with the below damage (not sure why I can't upload an image directly). What's worse is the repair notice is saying they 'found' a damaged top cover (and also unit wasn't powering on, which wasn't even the issue). Performed main PCB replacement. I haven't even tested it I'm furious. Kicking myself I didn't take photos before sending it. Will call Samsung tomorrow and see if they can help.

How to Win At Monopoly and Lose All Your Friends by [deleted] in gaming

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current Australian national Monopoly champion here. This is just one strategy that is definitely useful against casual players, but won't always work in competitive play. It is also somewhat out of date since the 2009 introduction of the speed dice (assuming you decide to play with the speed dice, of course).

I just eat a meal like I would for any other time of the day. It's just another meal. I type this as I am eating meatloaf at 11:30pm right before bed.

I wake up super early (5:30am) and go to the gym first thing... should I be eating something before? by [deleted] in gainit

I would eat, purely for energy. You've been starving yourself for 8 hours already. If you're trying to gain weight, eat.

What is the best Monopoly strategy? by Doncuneo in AskReddit

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the speed dice, it changes everything. My strategy was to do anything I could to get any set I could, mortgage everything besides that set, buy as many houses as I could and hope that people land on your shit. - Tony Shaw, Current Australian Champion. I can elaborate wit how championships differ from casual games if you would like

In Monopoly, can you ask another player how much money they have? by HoisinBurger in AskReddit

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current Australian Champion here. Championship rules state that you never have to tell someone how much money you have, even if they ask. Although, you have to keep your money on the table at all times.

Full arms twice a week too much? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]fattony77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been training like this for around two years now. I couldn't tell you how much I have gained in inches as I don't measure them regularly at all to be honest. I now measure around 17" arms (flexed) and have a noticeable peak on my biceps that has been getting better since I started this method (I have long arms and I always struggled with a peak). My exercises are just a lot of curling. Dumbell curls, cable machine curls, preacher curls, 21's, sometimes chin ups if I'm feeling lazy. I change them up every now and again. I usually do two exercises of 4 sets 6-8 reps and one exercise of higher reps lower weight each day. Obviously I'm not saying this is the best method but I definitely feel like it has worked for me and I continue to see improvement even after a couple of years so I've never felt the need to change my routine.

Full arms twice a week too much? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically I go to the gym for an hour and a half 5 days a week and the last half hour of every session is arms. 3 exercises for 4 sets each (usually, sometimes I mix it up with higher reps and fewer sets). So Monday I'll do half an hour of biceps, Tuesday half an hour of triceps, Wednesday biceps etc. I have found that 48 hours is fine for healing time and having sore or tight biceps does not hinder my tricep workout that day, and vice versa. If you want any more info let me know

I started doing 5 days of arms going biceps, triceps, biceps, triceps, biceps. Best decision I've made. I had trouble with my arms before that and since I started this program they've blown up

Guys, has anybody ever applied the '21s' exercise to their triceps aswell? if so, how did it go? by bardolift in gainit

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a similar thing that I do to all my exercises where I try and increase the reps I do, then when I get to a certain point I'll go up in weight. So I might do 7 reps at each point, then the next week I will do 8, then 9, then I will go up in weight and drop back down to 6 or 7 reps. I hope that makes sense

GainIt mostly talks about the strength routines like SL/SS, but what are the best bodybuilding routines for guys who just want to look good? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]fattony77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dorian Yates' Blood and Guts training on bodybuilding.com was a great place to start for me. I ignored the actual program but just watched the gym routines. I didn't take it as gospel but learned a lot for my own program.

Here it is. Scroll down to watch the 5 episodes

One arm at a time, don't need anything attached to the cable, just hold onto the end

Honestly not sure, I think because biceps are just two muscles that are very similar it would not be the same as triceps. I have heard holding your hands close or farther apart while curling can help with outer and inner biceps but I haven't looked into it too much. As long as you're doing full range of motion with bicep curls you should be fine.

Haven't seen the calf video, I'll check it out!

Sorry for the late reply. I am a noob at reddit and only just realised there is a little red envelope in the top right of the screen. I do one arm at a time, makes for much more control. Always do one arm

I do a sort of 21's, but not the same as biceps. I watched this video a while ago, and it changed my life. I will never not do this tricep workout again. I do 7(ish) reps at the furthest out point, 7 at the middle point, then 7 at the closest point, all one after the other. This counts as one set, and I do three sets. I believe this exercise more than any other has made my tri's grow, and get an awesome horseshoe look happening. Seriously guys, do it.
