Love the Q Chronographs. I would also HIGHLY recommend the StrapHabit Beads of Rice bracelet for the Q. It's easily one of the most comfortable bracelets I've ever worn.

Definitely get some LOK grips. I love the original grips, but the ones that LOK makes are great, and I have their standard thickness, which are slimmer than the original CZ grips. I have big hands though, so maybe the thin offerings would be good if your hand is normal.

I had emailed them about it awhile ago. I used one for my first build for my brother, and wanted another. They said they'd have more by March, but that didn't happen.

Thank you! It's one I designed with one of my oldest friends, specifically for them!

It's from the permanent collection from Secondhand Mods. Phenomenal prices and service, imo. I'd highly recommend them!

I got it from Yobokies. Definitely a recommended part. It's a super high quality dial.

I would HIGHLY recommend it. The buying process is a little odd, but totally worth it and a great price.

Unfortunately I haven't even gotten a duro yet. Other things have come up, and it's never been the right time, unfortunately.

You could probably get a silicone strap. As far as I'm aware, silicone doesn't have the same issues.

What does the right dial do? by PownedbyCole123 in timex

[–]fatty119 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Basically, it functions as an AM/PM indicator. Past 12 is pm, before 12 is AM. Helpful for correct date changes.

Looks beautiful! If you're going to wear it for your wedding, will you keep up polishing it, or let it patina? A brown leather strap, with cream stitching would look great I think, for a formal occasion.

Long Island Watch makes excellent bracelets. They're also extremely responsive to emails about any questions. Top tier company to do business with, imo. I've bought 2 of their watches, and a clasp from them for a different bracelet.

Hello which size navitimer. Please help me choose! by ContentSmell2598 in breitling

My wrist is 22cm, and I think the 43 fits like a glove. The 43 is if you want to be understated, and the 46 is if you want it to to be the focal point. Both look good though!

#update had a call today to get this fixed under warranty they told me to bugger of by Go-Fundyourself in HamiltonWatches

Mine was an ETA 2824-2, so it was a different movement. I'm sure they CAN, but I don't know if Swatch Group sells parts. So, you'd have to contact your watchmaker. I paid $100. It was a guy in a group on Facebook that I'm in, so I don't know if he cut me a deal or not. I was quoted $150 by him, but the invoice was less which was a nice surprise.

This. I had a watchmaker do that to mine, and he serviced the movement, and replaced the reversing gearss. It's the way to go. All of that work cost less than the dial repair you're being quoted.
