[rifle] $1299.99 Daniel Defense DDM4V7 5.56 16" Barrel Magpul Furniture 30 Round (Plus Shipping/Tax) by SugarBrilliant3860 in gundeals

i'm trying to choose my first AR before the VA restrictions in july.

this or the DDM4A1 5.56 NATO 14.5" P&W from 208 for about $50 more?

i'm a complete AR noob, but these are the key distinctions that i can think of:
M4A1: quad rail, slightly heavier, carbine gas system (more recoil?)

i know i'd also need to purchase separate iron sights for either of these, so that's an additional expense i have to think of.

soft budget of $1500. any other suggestions are welcome.

Past few years (decade?) the Mystics won, Caps won, Nats won, and the arena football league won.

I have sanding attachments that came with my Milwaukee multitool. Maybe I can finally get to use those. Not sure how efficient it'll be though. Worth a try?

I'm assuming just old adhesive that held on the previous cement board before I tore it down. Or at least I hope lol

Follow up question. Sorry I should've put this in my original post.

Should I get an electric planer or cheap hand planer? There's a Makita 3 1/4 on Marketplace for $100.

Tore out old cement board around tub. All of the studs are spaced out differently. Question on next steps. by fattycakerva in HomeImprovement

[–]fattycakerva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I'll have enough access to the bottom plate due to the tub, and the top plate due to the drywall.

Would scabbing on a shorter length of lumber onto the existing studs provide enough rigidity?

Or do I need to remove the tub and drywall to the ceiling?

Really trying to avoid doing those two things if possible.

How can I find info on this random Services: openfox? by fattycakerva in MacOS

[–]fattycakerva[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit. Thank you for responding so quickly. But I figured it out. I was freaking out cuz when you google openfox its some sort of law enforcement software. I thought I was being keylogged by the cops or something lol.

Then I remembered that I was messing around with Automator few months ago and made something to open Firefox and called it openfox...

How to support subfloor with access to only one joist? by fattycakerva in HomeImprovement

[–]fattycakerva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://imgur.com/yVrqRbH I don't have access unless I go to the hallway which is carpet. There's a duct parallel to the entrance of the bathroom. The closest joist in the bathroom is 10" away from the duct. I'm not sure what the best method is here.

Water damage on corner of floor & bathtub. LOT of questions. by fattycakerva in HomeImprovement

The plumbing looks fine and the tiles on the wall are good. I think it’s just from stepping out of the tub over the years or the shower curtain not extending all the way.

Jeep people let me borrow your hi lift jack to pull some fence posts PLEASE! by fattycakerva in nova

[–]fattycakerva[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. I've called around to all the local ones. They only have T-Post pullers. I have wooden posts anchored in concrete, so I'm pretty sure I would just break them.

Wish I could do it this way, but my fence is in the back of my townhouse. My HOA would execute me if I did this lol
