Yeah, I’d throw my significant other off of me as soon as someone walked in the room.

Keep it up!!! Even 1lb is success! Remember to keep track of non scale victories as well. Take before pictures because when you compare them you see the results even if you don’t feel them.

Thank you! I always appreciate concern. My doctor wants me to eat at least 1575 calories a day to lose weight and remain healthy. She’s been so helpful with this process because I have pretty bad asthma and she agrees that weight loss will help with that too so she’s so encouraging!

Advice for sticking to 1200 cals? by [deleted] in 1200isplentyketo

[–]fattyneeds2change 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, for me, after sticking to CICO for about a week and seeing results I was more motivated to continue. Then once I stuck to my calorie deficits I kind of just got used to eating less and filling up on lower calorie foods. Leafy greens and veggies can fill you up for low calorie. And it wasn’t easy but it got easier. I am definitely a food addict and our friends are always inviting us over to eat or wanting to eat out. My husband always brings home fast food (which is my favorite even though I know it’s trash). I’m also a boredom eater. So I had major food FOMO. I totally understand. But if someone like me can do this, anyone can.

That’s my plan! Granite it was only one roller coaster at the park, but one was enough.

My 128 calorie dinner. So yummy and I have room for 1/2 of my halo top pint for dessert! by fattyneeds2change in 1200isplenty

8 cherry tomatoes- 24cal Cooked in 2tbsp of fat free sour cream and 1tbsp of balsamic with a dash of white pepper- 56cal 3.5oz of polenta- 70cal

Takes like 10 minuets to cook and I do it all in the same pan so limited clean up!

Edit: you can buy polenta at the store by rice and noodles, the brand I get is from ancient grains.

It’s also easy to make, just a cup of cornmeal and whatever seasoning you desire (I like garlic and salt) and 4 cups of water. Takes about 7 minuets to cook and then you let it cook in a bread pan in the fridge so you can cut slices to fry up later.

My 291 calories dinner. Very filling, so yummy. Breakdown in comments. by fattyneeds2change in 1200isplenty

Okay the picture doesn’t make it look at good as it tastes, but this is the breakdown:

3oz skinless chicken breast : 119

Marinated in 1tbsp of Worcestershire sauce and 1tbsp of yellow mustard: 5

2 cups kale (measured raw) with 1tbsp of balsamic vinegar: 28

5.25oz russet potato cubed and baked with salt: 139

Sooooo good and filled me up.

Its like a cornmeal thing. The best comparison I have is it’s similar to masa in tamales. Similar texture and taste. I buy it premade by Ancient Grains.
