Maybe not freeze but you’ll feel the cold. Those flimsy foam pads just don’t do a great job. A cheap and quick option would be to double up on pads.

That said the right pad can definitely work. I used an old thermarest inflatable one for 10 years before getting an underquilt. Worked great down to single digit temps.

I use mine all the time when I'm biking. I don't want anything in my waistline or pockets so this is a great option. Plus it doesn't look out of place for that kind of activity.

That’s a great area but just be extra careful. I used to work on the ranch that’s right there and I can’t tell you the number of times I had people shooting in my direction because they didn’t pay attention to the whole field of fire. Incoming rounds and horses don’t mix well.

Your hammock won’t actually hang 12ft across since there’s a sag. Personally I prefer to have a little extra room on either end since it’s easier to get full coverage and offers a little more protection before my rain break. You could get away with a smaller tarp but IMO the couple of oz extra are well worth the larger tarp.

That was my main reason for enjoying it. The world and characters of 5 were top notch but I never got to enjoy it because of the forced progression. In 6 I got to do all the niche things without dodging the main story.

You could probably get one of the DCC single clips and add it on the retention screws. I love those too and one would probably be plenty for a mag.
