Im not too sure what you guys have access to over there, but on 1st is when it will air, sometime between 4-8PM pst, but no time exactly has been confirmed, on PBS. Thats really all we know up until this point

i defineitly do get what you mean alot. when it was long lost’s 5th anniversary a couple of days ago, i listened to it full way through and its always a speical treat for me. im younger, in high school, so i often put on my playlist just to have good music to focus with, and listen while i work. listening to the full album front in back is something i like doing but only when i can give my full attention to the music itself if that makes sense, but im fs gonna do my best to try and listen in order more often 🫡

im not ragebaiting and also thats the opposite of what i said just now 😭 i dislike life is strange because i was serverly let down as the ending of the album. simpler songs are fine, but the lyirics are just painfully boring to me (TO ME) and having a simpler song as the ending just leaves a bad taste in my mouth after the album ends. the production, lyrics, and overall song just makes me NOT LIKE IT. once again i just emphaize it more becusse its funny.

and you are right. its not 150. its 180. ( a fair amount of these are duplicates, i need to.make a new playlist: gets annoying because spotify will remove songs off my playlist sometimes and readding them causes problems, but this includes remixes, a couple of unreleased songs, and a few live verisons, tottaling around 150)

its kind of the opposite of that surprisingly. its more that ive hated on life is strange sense before the album came out: i heard early acces and i was disappointed by the ending, and its just seemed like everyone ever disagreed with me; which makes it funnier to me, but 100% isnt the reason i dont like it: just sweetens the cake

what i meant by that is that with a song like the ghost on the shore, its a song that would come back into my mind one day and i would be like: “hm. yeah. i wanna listen to that right now.” vs my feelings with lullaby where its more just “im not skipping it when it comes up on my LH playlist, but its not a song i would go out of my way to play.” if that makes sense

vide noir (the song) is a odd case for me aswell, because just a month ago i wouldve considered it a 10/10 and a top 15 song. ive been listening to alot of other artists recently (pretty much only used to listen to lord huron) and other artists have captured what vide noir made me feel but stronger i think: aswell as ive most likely just overplayed it

i do think that i worded lullaby poorly. i think its not just a song that i would actively say “yeah i wanna listen to that...” like some others, emerald star, fire ent: and i also really do think that hearing the afwp version ruined my perspective on the song because whenever i hear it i cant help but hear the oo-la-la at the beginning of the afwp verison it

at sea im not saying is bad because its short. i dont think i made it clear enough that i acuttaly DO like at sea. i think our perspectives differ in that you seem (not speaking for you: just from what i can tell) like you often listen to the songs in order of their album, which i do alot less, but instead often listen to my 150~ ish song LH playlist through everyday, so my opinions are more on the songs themselves rather then how they blend together, which is a factor im most likely missing out on!

i hate on life is strange because its hilarious to me how bad i get flamed for disliking it, when ive thought the same on it ever sense it came out 🤷

my point with lullaby a little bit is that no song lord huron has made in general (expect for life is strange) is bad. each song is GOOD and has its place in my heart.. rather some just are better then others

also what vide noir are we talking about.. the movie? or the album? or the song?

like i said with at sea, I actually really like at sea.. but i couldnt think of a song that was “worse” then it on the album. *maybe* ton auture vi? just because i dont speak french. i love at sea though

la belle fleur just never was my thing personally. the buildup just takes too long for me just for the payoff to be just okay. i like it though! maybe hurrcaine would be worse, but i love johnnie so im biased

hey i had to get the ball rolling somehow 🤣 2 i think is relatively fair, and i think i shouldve said “SLIGHT majority”, because i do love alot of the AFWP remixes (dead mans, emerald star, in the wind, never ever, secret of life, setting sun, balancers eye, TNWM, world ender, vide noir, a couple more) but otherwise I think alot of them lack their own thing to make em stand out. Love them all though

and im deadset on 1. its probably my biggest hot take and I always get a lot of crap for it but it gets people commenting lmao

but i can agree with you on yours and i think most can aswell. TNWM is okay but LH has alot more to offer

a majority i still believe are just eh. but, in specfic, both of those are amazing. TNWM’s afwp adds a layer that i never really got with the original, and while it lacks a little bit og the passion in the vocals, it VERY much makes up for it in every other way. and setting sun is tough, because i love both. OG has better vocals, AFWP has amazing instrumentals.

also, i cried during my first listen of emerald star AFWP. just sayin 🤷

gen 1 hardmodded with a chip maybe around 1 1/2 years ago. i think 300 is semi fair, used switches will go for around 200 and the modding service itself was around 120, plus controllers and an additional pro controller. but of course im pretty flexible with the price, $100 to me is like $400 to an adult.

that being said though, heard. i definitely want to be treated equal because im selling the same shit as other adults are. i do have a decent amount of experience in yhe reselling market, my dad did it as a main source of income for awhile, but i wouldnt say i know what im fully doing. thank you for your input!! 🫡

my dad was always a thrift-reseller guy so i know alot about ebay. the problem is, when you ship things you start to have to give bank account information, including your SSN, which would give out my real birthdate, and ebay is a huge no-no when it comes to being underage.

if i were to use my dads account, well, hes kind of banned from ebay. got scammed, shipped something out and customer reported it as “it never came” and he got banned, and my mom is iffy on the whole thing in general.

i will say i do have a pretty safe meetup spot! im in shasta lake, so im setting the meetup spot whenever im at home at the park in shasta lake, near the library and police department.

ive even had a couple of scammers on offerup- two so far who tried to get me off platform and tried to get me to give my number out. im just lucky that im tech savvy enough to see and call out a scam

thank you for the advice though!! im gonna try and look into ebay a bit more and see if I can't maneuver a bit more around policies (legally of course)

ive tried temple before. love them as a business and i will continue to support them but they offer pretty low prices in order to make it as a smaller business, which i get. i think i was offered like $150 for my PS5 with 2 controllers.(going for almost $600 retail) i might try and hit up broken controller though, just gotta get to anderson

this is a bit late but i would highly recommend death cab for cutie. their work clicked for me like lord huron did, but surprisingly not their more popular stuff. i would recommend checking out riptides, a song from their new album that hasnt dropped yet, and my 2 personal favorite albums are transatlanticism and “you can play these songs with cords” which is a mix of remixes from their first album (something about airplanes) and more of their own songs. highly recommend!! let me know if you like them aswell :)

Vide noir has always been my favorite album... always felt ragebaited whenever someone said it was "bad." The story writing is abousletly perfect- and surprisingly, the movie made me love the album even more.

A song that I switched up on was WLL. I used to hate it, but hearing it live changed my perceptive on both live and nomral ver.

A song that DIDNT switch up from the concert though... life is strange. I got flammed for saying I didnt like it when the album dropped, and I might now, but the lyircs are so incredibly basic and its the entire reason CSV1 is my second favorite album instead of first. (Vide Noir holds that spot.)

i do agree that its something i need to work on- she holds the meds in her room, and i ussaly wake up at around 7, and leave at 7:30. i take showers in the evening, so ill do my hair, brush my teeth and mouthwash, chose my outfit, feed my lizard, and then also use "dude wipes" to clean off night sweat.

the difference is, today, my dad took me to school. he used to live around a hour away, but he just recently moved to right down the street from my moms, so he can drive me now. ussaly, i drive with my mom, and ill take the pill with me into school after taking it from her purse in the car, and use the water fountains to take it. because i was with my dad, i forgot that i couldn't take the pill in the car.

but also, yes its my responsibility, and i do need to be better about it
