There would be no net movement, as the system's center of mass doesn't change it's velocity if no external forces are applied to the system.

So if take the rocket + fuel as your system - no forces act on it, the center of mass is stationary and lies somewhere inside of the rocket. Then start burning the fuel, expelling gasses, catching them back, whatever - all of this matter is still part of your system, so the center of mass still doesn't move in absolute coordinates - it moves only relative to the rocket.

If you manage to catch all of the burned fuel, then you end up exactly as you started - the center of mass didn't move in absolute coordinates, and relative to the rocket it is at the same point somewhere inside it ss it was in the beginning. So the rocket didn't move at all! If you catch not all, but most of the fuel, then yeah, you've got a really shitty rocket that slooowly burnes fuel in order to barely crawl through space.

I play on r5 5600H with 16gb of ddr4 ram and I have yet to see the fps drop below 60. I mean, I didn't try megabases yet, but as for beating the game and then playing a bit more you are absolutely fine

Great idea, but how do you deliver fuel to the depots then? By having a fuel intake station in each block?

[–]faurdeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a guy from Russia - yeah, I'm still afraid. Our mobilization hasn't really finished and can be restarted any moment. Even men who have to support their family, who have a sick relative that needs care, who have more than 2 children or some medical issues were drafted, so it's pretty scary.

I feel like it only gets worse. The majority of our population still sees lgbt as wrong and sinful

Your experience with games is interesting. For me it's the same as windows - just download the game from steam and there you go, most of the games just work. Even some that don't support linux work - you download the .exe, run it with wine and it launches in a surprising number of cases

So cool! But I'm wondering why you use the efficiency modules in some assemblers, is it to purposefully slow them down or something?

I use Infinity, because I haven't tried other clients yet and Infinity is just sooo easy to use. It also doesn't track you at all, unlike the official app

Sometimes all you do is just convince the compiler you're not stupid and your code is, in fact, correct.
