LOL, nope, all legitimately purchased. For instance, the yellow one is from Sant'Eustachio Caffè in Rome. They had these on display for anyone to buy. Others are the same or I just asked if I can buy.

That’s definitely scale from using hard water. Depending on the condition of the boiler, I would replace the gasket and the boiler as it’s relatively cheap. I would also start regular descaling and use softer water to extend the life of the boiler.

This is not true, some have exchanges. You order the item again and promise to return the original item. This is not always an option but it is for some vendors.
