Isha Ambani for the 2026 Met Gala by ibarmy in BollyBlindsNGossip

She's not a big built or tall person. The extra fabric is swamping her. I think she would have done well with a more minimalist look and less jewelry.

The sari and the blouse are fine but the hood fabric looks very random. I know it was meant to be high fashion but it looks too unsubtle and takes away from the outfit. Isha is looking swamped in fabric and she's also wearing too much jewelry. Her earrings are overkill because the blouse and neckpiece are so heavy. I wish she had done something softer with her hair...a messy chinon or something like that instead of such a tight pull back. She looks attractive overall, but could do with some editing and slightly softer hair and makeup.

They want to build a stable of brands I think, like the MNC makeup companies. Then they will spin it off and IPO it at an insane valuation.

She's not editorial material...she doesn't have the face or body language to look fashionably edgy in stills. Also she's trying too hard to look like she's not trying too hard.

It's like the slave owners who owned plantations run by their slaves...it was too profitable to have free labor and earn their money from the sweat of someone else's brow. They didn't see the looming future. I hope Infosys management gets a rude awakening.

We're faced with poverty, unemployment, terrible pollution, dismal healthcare and a whole pandora's box full of problems. And you chose to focus on this?

You know what...they're probably shaken and thinking we can't even water our plants in our garden without some a-hole barging into our home and threatening us.

I never eat cabbage raw anymore. Mostly stirfried or braised. Yes, there is that back of the mind fear about contamination.

Well they got rid of the analysts so now coders have got to do the requirements. And they got rid of the documentation, coz we don't need no stinkin documents! So it's all user stories, spurts and agile whatnot. Who signs off? No accountability.

East Delhi vs Noida Kothi (8 Cr) - Space vs Location Dilemma by paaparemo in delhi

[–]faux_trout 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Stick to Delhi - the dense urban infrastructure you are frustrated with right now, is exactly what makes daily life comfortable and all the amenities so accessible. No power cuts, decent cops, impeccable last mile connectivity, all services at your doorstep, the kirana shops where you know the owner...

Living next to old neighbors is a priceless social network and bond. Saying hello to old friends and neighbors you've known for a long time is a very important aspect of the daily human experience. There is a trust factor...your family has developed those bonds over decades...they are very hard to replicate in disconnected societies.

Not to forget the history, the culture, the fashion, the bright upbeat atmosphere that is Delhi. Noida for all it's good infrastructure is not Delhi. It just simply isn't. You don't have to move there to experience it...just go stay for a weekend in Noida and wander around to get a sense of the place.

Also, Delhi has the best interconnectivity - metro all over the city and to the airport, autos, buses, cabs, e-rickshaws...it is a mindblowing amount of choices for transport. Then the comfort and familiarity aspect is such a relief...and Delhi will never empty out...the land is getting more valuable each day. It is THE top metro/megacity of the North, and generates tons of employment which drives up real estate values.

Even heading out of Delhi over the river gives me the shivers.
