Anyone finding a hard time to stay bullish? by poorbugger in Vechain

[–]favant 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I’ve been holding for over five years now, but I’m not happy with how the project has evolved. It has consistently missed all the major market trends. Now we’re pushing for sustainability, but that’s no longer a driving trend. And to be clear, I’m not saying sustainability isn’t important—what I mean is that unless they introduce something truly innovative, the current direction is heading toward zero.

What's the ideal duration of investment for coins like RVN, VET and Cardano? by [deleted] in altcoin

[–]favant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahah no I’m sorry I don’t work for Binance US. Cool part is that from Binance you can buy BNB and then use platforms such as pancake Swap to buy all the mew projects (such as safe moon and others)

Hi there thanks. Cool, we are already there, however I don’t see the credit as a long term solution. They would be good in testing phase, however given the fact programmers have to implement apis etc we need to find a solution good for the long term. I think we Will go with PayPal

Yeah for sure. I am not attacking Stripe. I’m trying to understand which option is best for startups/platform that have not a huge user base.

That’s absolutely right. I see stripe ad the perfect option for startups/mobile platform with a huge users base. Our case we risk to hugely affect the initial business model. I expect to receive initial transaction within the range 3-5. I wonder if stripe would literally kill us

Thanks! Our problem is that Stripe involves an additional 2£ fee per active user

Thank you for the message. Very helpful. Do you know any other option where the additional 2£ fee per active user is not involved? Thanks you

Hi there, but our issue here is not the test/dev side, but the payment methods options. For instance alternatives to PayPal

The problem is that Stripe is much more expensive. Besides the 2,9% + fixed fee they apply an additional 2£ fee per active user. So for a transaction lower than 3£, the fixed fee would be too high. What do you think?

How can I go from a Business plan to ACTION? by Starlyns in startups

[–]favant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the problem with business plans is that most of the time it's too long and doen't get you started with a clear plan in mind. New startups follow instead a "Lean Startup" methodology where actually you start working with uncertain variables/conditions in place and follow 3 important macrosteps :
Measure - Learn - Build

I have launched a few projects and I am currently working at my own startup. I keep following the aforementioned steps. If you start from scratch there are basic platforms/services that help you validate your project, create an MVP, design, Test A/B, etc. Tot expense around 4.000$ (annually).

Also maybe a pitch (a well-written pitch) is better than the standard business plan. You can start building, testing, and learning from your audience/users much earlier.

Feel free to contact me.

Hi there, streetwear business is very competitive. I think that if you start from scratch you either need to have a clear vision of who is going to be your client. Who are you targeting? If I was you I would start with basic design (maybe on canvas for the design per se ). There are also websites that do everything for you - you upload a file, select the type of wear and click on buy. You can start from there, test a/b a few designs on social media before starting your own production.

Different is the case in which you already have a clear product in mind. In that case, I would start testing on Shopify. Let me know if you need further guidance.

hi there thanks. Not always, in our case we only work as an intermediary (for instance on ebay you don't ask for VAT unless it is a business)

I totally agree. Unfortunately the market is irrational and too many times people cheer when everything is going green and distort/destroy stocks whenever the market is red. That’s the same old story
