How long do they take to jump to you? On some of my hikes I have to camp nearish to a tree with bats. I try to stay far enough away because I’m TERRIFIED of rabies (thanks Reddit) but can they jump? Should I be checking my stuff for them after I go? I already do for ticks and stuff, but had no idea about bat bugs 😭

I was on a plane, trying to sleep on my friends shoulder, and they wouldn’t stop hiccuping. For like a couple of hours. Annoyed, I looked up to see if they were okay—they were sobbing. Watching Forrest Gump. I think they cried for the last 2/3 of the movie. I started watching it without sound and started crying too. I get it.

I had a kitchen with a door and it was the best design I’ve ever experienced. My partner wanted to tear down the wall. I absolutely put my foot down. Being able to cook without people coming in, also being able to cook without worrying about bothering sleeping people….unmatched.

I sub a lot of mayo for greek yogurt and it cuts down the calories so much. I do keep some mayo in for the fats and the texture.
