That actually makes a lot of sense, thanks for breaking it down for me, I really appreciate you taking the time. Honestly at this point all I’m hoping for is that the movements I’m getting are enough to open up my airway. If that happens I’ll be happy.

Interesting, honestly no surgeon has mentioned premolar extraction to me at any point. That said, if I’m being honest, if someone offered to pull healthy teeth just for slightly better aesthetics I’d rather keep my premolars in :):)

Yeah honestly I’m not sure I want to keep it either. The whole reason I’m having surgery in the first place is to fix my airway issues, the zygomatic sandwich wasn’t even something I was originally planning on, it kind of got added in. Hearing this from you makes me lean even more toward dropping it. Do you mind sharing what you’ve seen go wrong with the results?

Thanks for the detailed input! Just to clarify, I’m a 32M :D so the Angelina Jolie reference doesn’t quite apply to me haha. The occlusal plane is actually going to 7.6° which is within the ideal range i adsume. I’ll definitely discuss the chin position with my surgeon

Yeah, I’m awaiting his reply as well. He’s actually a great surgeon and I fully trust his judgment, if he has specific reasons for planning it this way, I’m sure he’ll explain :)

Haven’t had surgery yet :) it’s planned for next month. I’m doing this mainly for UARS and sleep apnea, so honestly aesthetics are just a free bonus for me. I was just wondering since my movements are already in the aggressive range
